De NatuurTempel - een zelfgebouwde unieke organische belevingsruimte. Off grid inspiratiecentrum. Inspiratie centrum

Een vrijhaven onder de bomen, waar natuur, duurzaamheid, community, zelfontplooiing en kunst samenkomen in de dagelijkse praktijk. Bij Earth Awareness is bijvoorbeeld wassen in regenwater, koken op houtvuur, eten uit de tuin, eco-voorzieningen, meebewegen met de seizoenen en dansen

met de natuurelementen een dagelijkse gang van zaken. Sinds 2001 wonen en werken wij op deze plek, 100% off grid! In het ontstaan van deze plek is verantwoording nemen voor je eigen bestaan in relatie tot onze aarde een uitgangspunt geweest van waaruit beslissingen genomen zijn. Er is door de jaren heen veel kennis en ervaring vergaard over hoe wij als mensen gezonde relaties kunnen aangaan en onderhouden met deze aarde, met onze medemens en met het bovennatuurlijke. Sjamanisme en Kunst

Door jarenlange intensieve samenwerking met traditionele medicijnmensen, afkomstig vanuit verschillende delen van de aardbol, is veel authentieke kennis overgedragen. Wij gebruiken deze kennis in onze dagelijkse handelingen en in de ceremoniele momenten, vrouwencirkels en zweethutten, om aan te trekken wat gezond is en af te wenden wat dit doel niet dient. Veel van de inspiratie die door deze manier van leven vrijkomt gaat naar het creëren van natuurlijke kunst. Er is een reis gemaakt door materialen als metaal, hout, verf, muziek, zaden en veren. Zowel in de binnen als buitenruimtes van deze plek is natuurlijke kunst ruim vertegenwoordigd. De NatuurTempel

In het najaar van 2012 zijn we begonnen met de bouw van een Tempel. Een Tempel als eerbetoon aan onze natuur, een kroonwerk op de manifestatie van de holistische visie van de mens op aarde. De Tempel is een rond bouwwerk van organisch gevormde boomstammen en takken, glas en leem, onder andere bedoeld als creatieve, inspirerende en natuurlijke samenkomstruimte voor organisaties en initiatieven. Maar zeker ook om onze levensbeschouwing te onderzoeken, te delen en beleven. De Tempel werd gebouwd door verschillende bouwstijlen, zoals blokhut, earthship, kopshout bouwen, hobbit house, te combineren. De NatuurTempel heeft een groen dak en een geodesic dome van 7 mtr. Retreats don't begin when participants arrive. Long before the first guests step onto the land, there is plenty of work behind the scenes.

Preparing spaces.
Maintaining paths.
Cleaning the Temple.
Working in the garden.
Stacking firewood.

These simple tasks may seem ordinary, yet they help create the atmosphere people often describe as feeling "at home" the moment they arrive.

And honestly, we enjoy this part just as much. It keeps us grounded!

Some mornings the Nature Temple feels completely different.

The same building. The same land. The same trees. Yet the atmosphere changes with the seasons, the weather, and the people who gather here.

After almost 20 years, one thing continues to amaze us: a place can hold memories.

Thousands of people have sat around the fire, shared their stories, celebrated, grieved, laughed and transformed within these walls.

Sometimes we wonder if the building remembers them too.

20 years ago... No grand master plan and no certainty. Just a group of people with a vision that this place could become something meaningful.

Many things have changed since then. Buildings have been restored.
The Nature Temple was created.
Thousands of visitors have found their way here.

Yet the original intention remains the same: To create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, each other and nature.

In our experience, that is only part of the journey. The conversations, but also the silence. The meals together. The workshops and the precious moments around the fire.
