Here's a frightening statistic for an island nation - only 6% of the food we consume is produced on the Isle of Man.
Sooooo it's time for Blossom Broadbean's Garden Superheroes to get to work.
Blossom is on a mission to encourage children of all ages to grow their own vegetables and will have her grow-along kits at the Isle Settle SA Festival - Isle of Unity on the 6th September at The Manx Fun Farm.
Let's grow veg together!

I wanted to share the bounty of beautiful flowers I have blooming in my cutting patch and dropped a bunch in at a new business yesterday.
The Quirky Teapot in Ballasalla is a small and beautifully formed little tea room in the heart of the village.
These pics just made my heart sing

Heading home after a special time with the family. Martin did lots of painting, fettling and glazing. I loved spending time in the garden, picking and arranging and the sun came out to play. The grandies grow so quickly but thankfully we’re still a novelty😀

I look at this little caravan everyday and remember I painted it to manifest the real thing. One day I hope to have one that will be be my garden shed and creative space. Until then, I'll keep wishing 😀

I was gifted these Seedball wildflower seeds yesterday. Wildflowers can be difficult to grow and with seed balls the seed is encased in clay which breaks down as the seed germinates. I’ll keep you posted on their progress.

The ranunculus in the poly tunnel are looking good. I hope to have some blooms ready for cutting in April
