Just putting it out there!

Over 90% of the “live” acts you see aren’t actually live. A lot of DJs and performers try to sell it like it is, but here’s what’s really going on most of the time:

1: A pre-recorded set playing off a USB.
2: A DJ or team just playing their own tracks.
3: A computer (like Ableton) running preloaded WAV files in sync to look like a live set.
4: A stage show with a DJ playing his own songs, plus dancers and MCs to hype it up.

So yeah, pay close attention to what you’re buying.. and who’s selling it. You’re being played by these charlatans. Most of these so-called “live” acts are just selling you a label, not a real performance. They’re jacking up ticket prices for a glorified playback, making your night out way more expensive for no reason.
