Kirti Soekaloe is a creative professional blending art, education, and culture. In May 2023, she launched Kuffs, a jewelry and styling brand inspired by traditional Indian nose cuffs. Her business gained traction, leading her to expand the brand into costume design, scenography, and styling.
Kirti will share the journey of turning Kuffs from a passion project into a thriving business, discussing her creative process, the practicalities of establishing a brand, and her focus on ethical collaborations with q***r and BIPOC artists. Attendees will gain insights into building a creative business, navigating niche markets, and staying authentic to their artistic vision.

With the brand Ma- MAN- ( )Marijne breathes new life into forgotten fabrics and overlooked garments. “My pursuit is not to create revolutionary designs, but rather to create high-quality, timeless pieces through skilled tailoring. As a neurodivergent person lacking social skills, fashion has always been a way for me to connect and make sense of this chaotic world and its chaotic people. In the meditative act of garment construction, I find peace in the balancing of aesthetics and craftsmanship, where every detail matters.” A thoughtfully made piece speaks for itself.
