All nice and stuff that party at the Seaside. But how the hell do we get there?? Options are in galore. As we suggested last year you can take your ‘klapfiets’. But the municipality of Rotterdam made it a bit easier (finally), since there’s a subway (metro) line going straight to the beach now (after 5 years or so…). From there it’s a 15 minutes walk. If you go by car please fix a place to sleep or stay sober.

Based on RnB, Hiphop & Soul but filled with more obscure trips into electronics or global sounds this mix from the polyglote Seven does very well in bringing across his transcendent message “Eat good, Sleep good, Live good” 💨💨💆

Sykes touches upon all jazzy and electronic stuff in this beautiful mix he recorded for our PUF Invites series. Complex rhythms and melodies, but lots of soul all the way through. Here and there some easy, very warm and comforting house. Throwing in even sum junglish/garage stuff at the end we see the broad arsenal of musical genres Sykes possesses and is able to use to treat your ears, as he exactly does in this mix. Honestly… We got the honour to host this sick broken beat producer for a mix that we’ve played lots of times already. While keeping the vibes and playing good music he also treats us about the roots of broken beat starting of the mix with some smooth soulful hiphop and jazzy stuff before heading to more broken beat.
