Excited to welcome Charmaine as the latest addition to our roster.

Charmaine’s DJ sets reflect her endless musical curiosity. They’re guided by instinct rather than genre as the Rotterdam-based DJ moves freely through decades and styles. From deep 70s jazz-funk cuts to dubbed-out house or raw Detroit techno, she always lets the music breathe and stories unfold naturally. Each set is a conversation between her, the space and the crowd at cult places like De School, Doka, North Sea Jazz Festival, Dekmantel Selectors or Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide. She joins the dots between diverse scenes and sounds, always favouring what feels timeless.

Having formerly worked with Rotterdam institutions Operator Radio and the Clone Records store, she’s long been embedded in the city’s scene. Initially motivated by a desire to express what words can’t capture, Charmaine communicates emotions and stories beyond language to create a genuine musical dialogue between the DJ and dancers. Outside of the club, Charmaine has been a familiar voice on Radio Tempo Naõ Para, where her bi-monthly residency served as a window into her latest discoveries. Wherever she plays, DJing is not just about music; it’s about creating a space where everyone can escape the everyday but be present in the moment.

Welcome MALOU to the Pontoon Bookings roster.

MALOU gravitates towards fun, synth-heavy floor fillers - think electrifying electro, punchy house, playful Italo, and whatever else feels right in the moment. Her sound is colourful and unpredictable, full of rolling basslines, bright melodies, and the occasional left turn straight from her current playlist. It’s a style that balances light and dark with a wink to indie dance and a clear love for the dancefloor.

Every set is a snapshot of where she is musically in that moment - intuitive, energetic, and always a bit cheeky. Whether it’s a sweaty club night or an open-air festival, MALOU brings a sound that’s vibrant, loose, and made to move. With past sets at festivals like Wildeburg, Down the Rabbit Hole, Best Kept Secret, and venues like Lofi, NAR, and Paradiso - and plenty more on the horizon - she’s one to watch.
