I just received a gift from SPORTCITY as an apology for the cancellation of our event. Although it was unfortunate for us and our team, we appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Dear Leslie,

Just a few weeks ago we were talking and planning our events, especially this last one where sadly you couldn’t be present. You were always asking about them, always encouraging me to keep going, always willing to support in every possible way. And now… You are no longer here with us.

Your departure was so sudden that I’m still dismayed. For me, you were much more than a DJ—you were a true friend, a brother, and even a father figure. Your wise advice about life and family, the countless conversations we shared with your wonderful wife (whom I also deeply value and wish strength and comfort in this painful moment), will forever remain in my heart.

I promise you this: at every event I hold, you will always be there. You will always be part of them, as I once promised you.

Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be remembered always.

Hace apenas unas semanas hablábamos y planificábamos nuestros eventos, especialmente este último en el que, tristemente, no pudiste estar presente. Siempre me preguntabas por ellos, siempre me animabas a seguir adelante y siempre estabas dispuesto a apoyar de la mejor manera posible. Y ahora… ya no estás aquí con nosotros.

Tu partida fue tan repentina que aún me cuesta asimilarla. Para mí fuiste mucho más que un DJ: fuiste un verdadero amigo, un hermano y hasta un padre. Tus sabios consejos sobre la vida y la familia, y las tantas conversaciones que compartimos junto a tu maravillosa esposa (a quien valoro profundamente y deseo mucha fortaleza en este doloroso momento), quedarán por siempre en mi corazón.
