Over three days, Europe’s finest bartenders from 17 countries competed for one goal: a ticket to the Global Finals of the world’s biggest cocktail competition.

In June, they came together at the Schiecentrale in Rotterdam for the very first World Class Europe Finals, hosted for Diageo

Bar takeovers, mystery boxes and creative challenges, building up to the tension of the live finals in the Arena. After three days of shooting for the stars, where better to celebrate than Celest, high above the city.

Cold Classics - Smirnoff ICE

A rusted freezer in the middle of two festival fields. Weathered steel, ice-blue details, a full-service bar and just enough movement behind the cold room curtains to make you curious.

Step inside and the temperature drops.

At the heart of the experience was Freeze Point. Throughout the day, the temperature kept falling until the activation reached its critical point. Push the four illuminated buttons became active and one push was enough to trigger the full experience.

A simple interaction, but one that brought the idea of an ice-cold Smirnoff ICE to life in a very physical way.

Cold Classics was created for two of the biggest hard dance festivals of the summer: Dominator and Decibel Outdoor.

While the event is filled with inspiring activations, Bernardus W**ery offers something only a host can: a true sense of home.

Through natural materials, warm tones and thoughtful details, we created the Home of Bernardus. A welcoming and refined environment where guests are not simply visitors, but welcomed as friends.

Bernardus is not arriving at the Solheim Cup.

They are already home.

It all started with an apple. 🍎

For Aartsen’s ‘Best Party of the Year’, we transformed their own distribution centre into 𝗔 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲.

The apple has always been part of Aartsen’s identity, so instead of simply using it as a logo, we started pulling at the thread.

The Big Apple.. it’ll all remind us of New York.

A city of ambition, a melting pot of cultures and nonstop energy. A great metaphor for the drive of Aartsen ethos.
And red became our common language.

Red apples. Red velvet. Red light. Red details everywhere. From hundreds of apples behind the bar to an apple-shaped dessert at the end of dinner.

Throughout the evening, dinner and show became one experience, created completely from scratch inside a space normally used for something very different.
And when dinner ended, the story travelled further east.

Guests crossed the stage and entered a darker, more theatrical world inspired by Hong Kong, home to one of Aartsen’s international locations.
One location. Two worlds. Quite a lot of red.

And probably more apples than we have ever used in one project. 🍎
