₪Ꙝ GRATITUDE ꙟ PHOTOS ꙟ TRYPTAEDA² ₪Ꙝ

Lovely freaks and fellas. A few weeks had to elapse to calm down, reflect, and realize the recent TRYP. Every single step of the process, again, was an absolute pleasure: From the first seed of a vision to conceptualization and ex*****on – from carrying the first piece of wood into the location until saying goodbye and closing the door – from sending the first frequencies of the evening through the soundsystem to enjoying the enchanting smiles after the epochal closing was finished. Although I really have to admit that this process also did challenge my capacities to the fullest, there is no doubt that every single piece of effort was damn well invested!

With this post, firstly, I proudly present to you a fantastic collection of photos of the recent TRYPTAEDA, captured by Nightlife Photography (Ramon Oostindien). Secondly, I want to express my gratitude to a bunch of very special people. It is a long list, but special people need special treatments.

Let's start with our guests. Basti and Natalie (Tzu-Jan), thank you so much for the warm and lovely time together. It was nearly a ridiculous feeling to hear your soundscapes at our charming Waalhalla – surely an experience which I couldn't forget anymore. Vikram (Alien Trancesistor / Vantara Vichitra), my gratitude for the energizing support and kind words around and during the TRYP. How superduper it feels seeing the Dutch crowd get flooded by some proper VV-Vibes. Sebastian (Nebokad's Dream), it's still hard to realize that you really made the long way to let this happen. Your decoration and the stage design were incredible – I barely could remember a more impressive indoor decoration with such a subtle and bewitching vibe. Working together was a great pleasure, you're always welcome. Zari and Jacob (Sachira Lightcrafts), you lovely souls are highly appreciated – every moment with you on the floor and around is a great enrichment. Thanks for your time, engagement, and effort. Jorine (Jorine) and Julius, my KukiLicious affairs and extended arms, a party wouldn't be the same without you two pieces of cake. Hoping for a lot of chaos, bull- and gangster-sh*t from toen til infinity. Sef, Nyma's very own Vlegel of trust, thanks for your spontaneity, creativity, and trust regarding the chill-out area and everything around. Dieuwke (Glitterheks), thanks for the craziness, vibes, and being part of the journey. Waalhalla and their staff, it was a very smooth collaboration and I felt very welcome, thank y'all for making this possible and creating space for this subcultural experiment. Slowly coming to an end, a really big fat shoutout to all my friends and family for supporting me and everything I'm doing without batting an eyelid. Next to this, a special thanks deep from my heart to Laura, my indispensable straw to cling to while balancing on the narrow ridge between sanity and insanity. It means a lot to me that I always can rely on you supporting my idiotic ideas!

Last but not least, THANK YOU to every single soul who shared the floor with us. So many people did travel so many kilometers to celebrate this night – it was heart-touching to see this diversity of passionate and dedicated people. The vibe was extraordinarily peaceful, caring, and harmonic – while everyone was focused on completely rocking their socks off on the floor. This was a professional one, I'd say. Closing this chapter with butterflies in my stomach, sincerely..

To get drinks and refreshments at the bar, you can buy coins in the skatehall for 3.20,- each – You can pay ‘em with cash or card. To stash your jacket or little bagpack, lockers will be available in the skatehall, too. A locker will be 2,- per use, so you need a 2€-coin to use ‘em.
In the chill-out area, our dearest Zari (Sachira Lightcrafts) and Dieuwke (Glitterheks) will present her handmade wooden jewelry on the on hand, and handmade treasures on the other hand to you. If you like to catch some of their beautiful accessories you definitively should put some cash in your pockets to support their work!

ꙟ HOW TO COME TO WAALHALLA ꙟ
Many roads lead to Nyma!

Train: Just take the train to station Nijmegen. From there, it's either a beautiful walk of a small ½hour. Otherwise you can take the bus which will be described underneath.
FOR PEOPLE FROM GERMANY: With the Deutschlandticket, you can travel for free to Nijmegen – just take the Regionalverkehr to Kleve and step into the SB58-Bus from there.

Bus within Nijmegen: There is a busstop within 2min walking distance from Waalhalla. Check 9292.nl to find the best connection (Centraal Station → NYMA). Keep in mind that you need a bankpas to pick the bus!

Parking: Waalhalla is based on the NYMA terrain. There are a lot of free parking spaces in walking distance of the location. Drive carefully!

We kindly ask you to visit the outdoor area if you want to have a smoke. Keep the air fresh inside to ensure that everybody is getting enough oxygen while dancing. Smoking in indoor locations is prohibited in whole NL recently, so please keep this in mind!

₪Ꙝ NEBOKAD'S DREAM Ꙛ TRYPTAEDA² Ꙛ DECORATION ₪Ꙝ

Very soon, a year long mission finally will be completed. During the past events in which I was involved, exorbitant nice decoration approaches were born, extended or combined – it was a pleasure to see this. But in the back of my mind, one wish never was fulfilled. A wish living in the mountains of Bavaria and making outstanding omnipresent organic decoration. Let us welcome our visual vandalist of the night:

NEBOKAD'S DREAM is working on his installations for years already and exposed them on a wide variety of indoor parties and festivals. With a very fine eye for the subtle integration of his pieces into the context, it will be a beautiful and bizarre buffet out of visual tidbits to see, what he'll do with our beloved Waalhalla. What already can be mentioned: expect the podium being bewitched into a forestial cave with wooden elements and on the floor, stimulate yourself with layers of naturality and get cought by the cozy consequences of a great attention for detail.

On Friday, Nebokad will occupy the mainhall of Waalhalla for a whole day to transform the Hall to a muddy cave filled with sweet tempations. Although Waalhalla is a cozy location with a capacity of max. 500 people in total, the big podium and the high roof of the hall can swallow a part of the cozyness away quite fastly. As more important it is to have an impressive installation which will lay on your mind as a warming jacket. And this is exactly what will be delivered!

"It is a complicated task to feel the pulse of the crowd. Finding balance in treating the dancers carefully and challenging them adequately. Hitting the sweet spot between giving them what they want and providing them with what they never expected.

There are good sets, yes.. Even brilliant sets, of course.. But experiencing the performance of ALIEN TRANCESISTOR was something different. Magic does happen when he delivers his outstanding track selection with his indescribable energy to the floor. With a lot of surprises due to the masses of unreleased tracks in his pocket, he surely will show you where the white rabbit is hiding.

Oh.. while dandling in thoughts about his brilliant performance skills, I forgot to point out something very important. You know Vantara Vichitra Records? - I mean.. this solid and somewhat weird bastion of psychedelic forest music? A long time ago, far far away, an innovative vision about proper sound began to define itself. Bengaluru, India - together with a friend, Vikram founded Vantara Vichitra Records in 2011.

Over time, this sound did pollinize dozens of fanatics of forestial frequencies all over the world. To just name a very few amazing artists who are signed on VV: Bubbleguns, Madianbrains, Jangaramongara, Forest Bamp and many more - in conclusion, masses of brilliance, creativity and mind-twisting Psichedelia.

By playing at the most beautiful festivals on this planet, being Ambassador for festivals like MoP & Mo:Dem and organizing Vantara Vichitra Events, which are really Gezellig, Vikram is sharing his vision from very different angles. Let's be curious about the angle he'll choose during this night - Feel free to let you send you on a TRYP."

"Just three weeks until darkness, so we have to hurry up a bit to adequately present all of the participants of this naughty night. Although it feels very awkward for me to present myself, it's part of my burden to do so. So.. Trommelwirbel.. let's welcome myself - KLAUS' DISSOZIATIVA - orchestrator and founder of TRYPTAEDA.

As my own story actually does also represent the background of the current edition, I want to share a few words about this. During the past ten years, I was allowed to make many experiences that would shape my life significantly - those ones are giving me hope and motivation to have a contribution in our societal living. This genre, scene, cosmos, subculture, or however you want to call this phenomenon.. It makes me creative and feeling free.

What I've learned is, that this cosmos isn't just a matter of consuming music and have a good time. The psychedelic underground seems like an internationally, mycelium like, floating symbiotic structure - working simultaneously and inter-, and intraconnected at the same time. Although a pulse you give can be intentional, you'll never know what for dots you're connecting and where the journey goes.

Luckily, this also causes the beautiful fact that at any moment, another unexpected pulse can initiate a proces within you. A proces which would lead to a vision. A vision which would become reality. Reality which would touch our hearts, calm our minds and, in the end, connect all of us.

And with some total madness on the dancefloor of course - let's don't forget that because that's why we also here, right? - Today, madness in the form of a funky forestial opening set. For this set, the focus will lie on a special selection reaching from good ol' Hokus-Pokus-Vupti-Vupti Sound to a representation of modern approaches to organic psychedelic forest music. It is gonna be romantically rumply again, from Klaus with Love.

What you see, hear or feel over (t)here is a matter of heart - a quintessential glimpse regarding a proper context for a mind-bending experience. I'm really really more than grateful that I may share this with y'all and I hope we'll enjoy - let's create something beautiful!"

"I already had to find quite a lot words to describe this beautiful human being. But still, there's not any single problem to find a few dozens of new ones. Because this crazy lady does develop steadily and it's always a pleasure to observe this.

Rooted in the Netherlands, Jorine shaped the intimate interrelatedness between her and the cruddy climes of dark psychedelic music in the sweet scene of Germany. With a decent mixture of magic and madness, this tainted troublemaker is carefully challenging a wide variety of disciplines within the psychedelic cosmos: From delivering never-ending sets and organizing rumply raves to the accurate ex*****on of stage- and bookingmanagement - this jack-of-all-trades does fulfill all those functions in a geniously manner.

It would take way too much time to explicitly elaborate on the musical range of Jorine's library.. Probably, there isn't that much high qualitative psychedelic music which couldn't be find in her tons of hard disks or CD-folders. To break it down: From smooth, gnarly and bushy dark progressive/techno tunes straightforward into the deepest Forest, this smooth selector always will find a humorous and innovative way to send you on the journey you always needed.

Her newest course on the menu: Dark. But if you know Jorine, you'll fastly recognize that it's not just Darkpsy, like 'bam bam bam sccccrcrzzzzsczrzz'. No, we already learned that Jorine likes stories - well told stories. And that's exactly what she's doing with this freshly implemented segment of her psychedelic spectrum.

You know... A Transition Set between two genres could be one of the trickiest task a DJ can be challenged with. Bridging is not easy, especially if you haven't got hours to play. Enough reasons to give this task to someone who surely will treat this challenge with respect. No standard "THAT WAS A BLAAST"-kind of crap, but tailor-made sensitive soundscapes with mind-melt guarantee.

"My fingers are tingling while writing this, but okay, let's concentrate and begin like this: A very important person in my life loves everything within the Dark Psychedelic spectrum. Her biggest wish was to finally hear a really everything demolishing closing in cozy Nyma.

But who would find the balance between "yeah, I don't even know who I am and that's amazing" and "I need a therapist for the rest of my life now"? - For hours, I was starring at my walls to find an answer on this question. As the universe is a fair fellow, the solution was visible crystally clear in front on my eyes. Ladies and gentlemen and everyone in between or outside.. Let's welcome TZU-JAN to transform the Waalhalla into an abnormal ancient temple full of BPM, boundary-breaking beats and bizarre breakthroughs.

It's a challenging task to describe the sound of those muddy magicians. Firstly, keeping it to the facts: Their live perfomances could be described as a fusion between Dark Psychedelic and Psycore - influenced by vibey imprints of Forest, Tekk, Hi-Tech - on, about, 170bpm til infinity.
But all those facts and words are just artificial membranes to describe an experience which couldn't be put in words. What Tzu-Jan does, is creating a ritualized journey into your own deepest abyss. Their music aims to transcend conscious thought, inviting listeners to embrace the present moment like a cosmic roller coaster ride. It's fast, yes, dark also - but also super gently and exactly on point. It's not really important if you're into that kind of music - this act is subcultural enrichment by itself!

TZU-JAN is proving their torturing trancendental talent for crafting psychedelic music on a wide variety of festivals and gatherings all over the world already – so I guess, everybody who's slightly interested in faster psichedelia, does surely knows what to expect. For the other ones: You poor poor souls - please also come around and just check out what they'll do for naughty things at Waalhalla that night. It's more an obligation than a possibility - this may gonna be one of the roughest rides Nyma ever saw!"
