Goed nieuws....Na het cancelen van het Hellmond Open Air Festival op 5 Juli a.s zal Vicious Rumors op dezelfde dag als support fungeren van Overkill in de Effenaar in Eindhoven.

Helaas zullen onze optredens van Picture (Official) en Vicious Rumors niet door kunnen gaan op Hellmond Open Air, dat zou plaatsvinden op 5 Juli a.s. Het gehele festival is afgelast.
Zie hieronder statement van de organisatie:

Helaas zijn we genoodzaakt om Hellmond Open Air af te gelasten. Hoewel de voorverkoop voor het festival uitstekend verliep en we uitzagen naar opnieuw een gezellige editie, zijn onder andere perikelen rondom de vergunningverlening reden om het evenement te annuleren. In een tijd waarin veel festivals omvallen, onder andere door gestegen kosten, maar ook door toegenomen en soms zelfs doorgeschoten regels op gebied van veiligheid kunnen we ons geen risico’s veroorloven.
Onlangs werd in de gemeente Helmond op het laatste moment de halve marathon afgelast omdat er geen vergunning werd verleend, en zo’n scenario willen we voor Hellmond Open Air voorkomen.
Mooier kunnen we het niet maken, maar als pleister op de wonde kunnen we wel vertellen dat we een aantal bands bereid hebben gevonden om een vervangende show te spelen.
Zo zal Therapy?, met mogelijk nog een paar bands op 5 juli spelen in Musis Arnhem.
De metalliefhebbers kunnen afreizen naar Eindhoven waar diezelfde dag Overkill en Vicious Rumors zullen spelen in de Effenaar.
Mensen die al tickets gekocht hadden voor het festival krijgen het aankoopbedrag automatisch teruggestort in de komende dagen.

We're very happy to tell you that Wings of Steel are from now on part of our bookings agency will be for all the bookings in Europe. Wings Of Steel is one of the most promising bands at the moment in old skool hardrock and heavy metal 80's style with contemporary influences and played last year already festivals as Rock Hard and Keep It True.

BIO:
Wings of Steel is a Los Angeles based hard rock/heavy metal band founded by vocalist
Leo Unnermark and guitarist Parker Halub in 2019.
Rooted primarily in the old-school style of hard rock and heavy metal from the 70’s and
80’s, the band's sound can be described as an epic and unique blend of those classic
styles. Unnemark's bluesy touch and dynamically powerful vocal register, paired with
Halub's bombastic riffs and expressive soloing, come together to form a distinctive and
massive sound that fans of hard rock and heavy metal have been waiting for.
In 2022 the band released their debut EP Wings of Steel which quickly established the
band as a force to be reckoned with within the underground heavy metal scene. In the
following year the band released their first full length album Gates of Twilight (2023), an
album regarded by many as one of the best heavy metal albums in recent years.
Wings of Steel is often praised for its ability to deliver energetic live performances at the
same high caliber as on their studio releases, something which was captured and
highlighted on their recent album Live in France (2024).
To date the band has played several headline shows in the United States and across
Europe, including performances at well-renowned festivals such as Rock Hard Festival,
Keep It True Festival, and more.
