Mark Your Event is founded by Mark Hermanns, a Hotelschool The Hague alumnus with a passion for hospitality and sharing this with others. "Hospitality can be found in all of us, it is just a matter of recognizing it and making sure that we find the right way of conveying this to others." Next week we will be working with for their annual conference. This year, the conference will take place at the of . Tonight there will be a tasting of the menu to conclude the final arrangements for the event.

Last Wednesday we traveled to Madrid to manage a conference in the stadium. Here we welcomed the guests working in the on- and offline gaming industry. During the conference, various speakers informed the audience about the latest rules and regulations, Artificial Intelligence and other important subjects related to the industry. It was a succesful event with a delicious dinner and a productive conference.

In the past two days we have supported coordinating the transport of 1.600 delegates working for a large consultancy firm for a training session about their new position. Together with the support of our transfer company, we have picked them up and arranged transfers for them to and from 11 different hotels. Good luck to all participants with their new position and the rest of their career.

Last Friday we have supported a new company, an indoor mountain bike hall, that celebrated their unofficial opening. A total of 45 people were invited to take the electric mountain bikes for a spin and try out the trail. The night ended with a nice barbecue prepared by the chef.

Today we are not organising but participant of an event. TEDxHotelschoolTheHague is organised by students from . The theme is Human Touch and the speakers share their personal experience with this subject. Nice to see an event being organised by a group of students. This is the second time a group of students from Hotelschool The Hague organised a event.

This Friday we will be going back to church for another event. Working in the industry is always exciting. We get to visit and work in unusual locations to create memorable experiences for everyone, including ourselves.

Serving high quality food for a large group of people at the same time can be quite challenging. Having a good caterer really makes the difference between a great night or cold dishes. For this event, the did an amazing job on delivering the promise.

In order to really get to know a city, it is best to adapt to the local culture. In Amsterdam, the best to do this, is to hop on a bike and cycle around town. A guide took a group of Sales Managers cycling through the old city centre, wearing red raincoats to protect them from the rain.
