Attention! Emotional post ahead. 🥲👇🏼
Yesterday was an incredible day for Roka. It was the first time we served such a large crowd. It was both incredibly exciting and exhausting.
We put in a huge amount of effort every week to bring you the freshest homemade meals. We spend four days preparing and hours on our feet. Every week, we end up completely worn out and tell ourselves, “I can’t do this anymore.” And yet, every Saturday, we end our day again — more motivated than ever. 🚀
The people we meet for the first time gradually become familiar faces, and the conversations we share each week deepen our connection to this work — and to you. 💚
This is not a job you can do without love. Cooking is a joy in itself, but the best part is knowing that we’re sharing these meals together each week, even if it’s from different homes. 🫂
In the second photo, I wanted to take a souvenir photo with our stall — a bit of a mess by the end of the day — but then I realized we had sold almost everything. I felt a moment of pride, got emotional, and cried. 🥹
I’m so grateful to have met you all. See you on Saturday and also at the next markets!
🍒🌿 ❤️
