DJ SONIC SCULPTOR @ SOMATIC TRIBAL ECSTATIC DANCE - GENT (BELGIË) - 15-10-2026 🤩

Finally I'm going to play another Ecstatic Dance DJ-set, which has been a while due to having tons of other priorities that demanded my attention, such as moving to a new living space, finances, work, recovering from a burn-out and my own well being. 😊

Therefore my greatest passion in life has been shoved to the background for quite some time already and then suddenly getting invited by the Tribal Somatic Ecstatic Dance Ghent crew was an awesome surprise coming out of nowhere. I even got asked to become one of their future resident DJ's, so that was a real nice extra bonus surprise on top of it! 🤩👌

I feel really stoked and excited and this has me diving deep into all kinds of magic new tunes as well as my collection to really dig up lots of real gems to spoil your eardrums and nervous system with. All aimed at and collected for maximum pleasure, fun, joy, togetherness, somatic exploration, movement, dance, going wild, diving deep, playfulness, bliss, ecstatic peaks and tons of other forms of ultra-deliciousness. 🥳

So get your butt and buttocks over to Ghent on the 15th of October and I hope to see you there on the dancefloor! 💃🕺

Wie weet zie ik en zien wij je in Gent op de dansvloer en zo ja, tot dan(s) !!!

BLAST FROM THE PAST - PART 1. 💥

Right, I'm back on track with many things that demanded my attention over the past years and simply felt like updating and reactivating the activity on my DJ page again, as I feel things are about to shift and future DJ gigs will probably start to flow in again bit by bit during the rest of 2026. 😊

And first of all that is with a 'blast from the past', when I cruised allover the planet during my years as a psytrance DJ. These pictures have been taken on or in all kinds of psytrance clubs, parties or festivals in countries Brazil, Germany, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, the U.S. and Mexico. 🥳

It's always a blast to browse through these awesome memories and havng met so many incredible people, be it organizers, other DJ's, artists, deco-teams, dancers and hosts and I will forever be grateful for all the truly unforgettable and magic moments I shared with all of them. 🙏

I will never forget these amazing times in my life, which made me travel to so many amazing countries, cultures and places, be it in cities or the middle of nature.

These experiences have formed me for a humongous part in regards to who I am and what ticks my clock nowadays, even though that's quite different and simultaneously very similar to what I do nowadays. 🤩

The past belongs to the past, but it will always be an incredible important and grateful part of my present and future...

For those who are in for a proper sonic journey, here's my last Ecstatic Dance DJ-set uploaded on Soundcloud and yes, I know, it took me ages to do so...😜

The set was played last summer at the Dao Dance Festival in Germany, which is an awesome open air festival combining Ecstatic Dance, martial arts (kung fu, tai chi, bagua & more), live-music, contact improvisation, a healing area, food stands and much more.

You'll find more info about it right here: https://www.dao-dance.de/en

I hope you really dig it and that it makes all your limbs bounce around the room, dancefloor, in nature or wherever you are. 🥳

Enjoy and feel free to contact me for future bookings, as there's nothing I love doing more than making people happy on a dancefloor! 💃🕺

So, finally I shifted my ass into the right gear to upload one of both Dao Dance Festival Ecstatic Dance DJ-sets I played there last summer in Germany, which was a rather challenging and also very int

Here's a few good memories of Dao Dance Festival in Germany last summer. 🤩👌

It was small, intimate and a very 1st tryout to see how people would respond to Ecstatic Dance on a psytrance festival, mixed with martial arts, contact improvisation and other forms of dance, movement and somatic exploration. 💃🕺

Personally I've been playing stages like Boom and Ozora Festival as well as all kinds of small intimate gatherings and nowadays prefer the latter in most cases, as it's less transient and interhuman connections in general go deeper. ☺️

Despite the incredible bad weather on most of the days, the main floor closed during several days during heavy torrential rain and unfortunately made a lot of people stay @ home instead of coming to the festival. ⛈️⛈️⛈️

The promoter is NOT giving up though and together with his awesome team, he will keep putting effort in creating a new form of conscious festival and have asked me again to participate as a DJ, which I consider as a real honor. 🙏

In case you're curious about Dao Dance Festival, check their website, which will get updated with the new program over the following months. 😉
