SugarFactory SugarFactory - The industrial location for striking events! Welkom bij de SugarFactory! Van 1863 tot 1992 verwerkte de fabriek bieten tot suiker.

Vroeger een suikerfabriek, nu een rauwe en industriële evenementenlocatie, net onder de rook van Amsterdam. Anderhalve eeuw later blijft de SugarFactory geschiedenis schrijven met onvergetelijke events. Met 8.000 m2 aan eventoppervlakte en verschillende ruimtes die zowel afzonderlijk als gecombineerd ingezet kunnen worden, zijn de mogelijkheden eindeloos. De hoge ruimtes, imposante atriums en vele

historische elementen maken dit een unieke locatie voor de meest uiteenlopende events. Productlanceringen, conferenties, personeelsfeesten, beurzen of tv-opnames vinden een uniek decor in deze industriële locatie. Het SugarFactory team helpt je graag het evenement van je dromen te realiseren!

From Amsterdam to Paris Fashion Week

A throw back to when Dorhout Mees unveiled her 2016/17 collection for the first time at Paris Fashion Week – and she opened the show with something truly special: a short fashion film.

Filming took place inside the Middenfabriek here at SugarFactory transforming our industrial spaces into a dreamlike world. Models, embodying graceful birds, moved through a fairytale setting that brought the collection’s theme to life.

Between the ethereal scenes, the signature elements of the Middenfabriek shone through – from the historic kettles and towering pillars to the impressive high ceilings. The result? A unique fusion of fashion, storytelling, and the raw beauty of our venue.

Yes, we really love our venue — but even more, we love connecting with people who share our passion for events. That’s why we recently attended the ''MPI’s Crossing Borders – The Art of Business event'' in Amsterdam.

Inspiration overload! Think street art, silent disco on a boat, learning about the importance of audio (especially how music can empower a video or brand story), cooperation and plenty of interaction. We bring everything we learn back to SugarFactory so our clients (Friends of the Factory!) can benefit too.

Thanks to MPI Netherlands Chapter (did you know that MPI Netherlands Chapter is an all-volunteer trade association, by and for meeting and event professionals?) and all the incredible partners who made this day unforgettable.
