This Friday we'll be meeting with dr. Peter Payne and his wife Janet Payne to talk about faith, science and art. They have careers in philosophy, teaching and mentoring and have been visiting Groningen for many years now engaging in discussions related to the Christian faith. To come and listen or participate in the evening's discussion there is no prerequisite of having faith or science background, everyone and every opinion is welcome!

Our last 'Food for Thought' before the summer holidays. On the 16th of June we'll get together for a nice dinner (with summer vibes) good company, and again an inspiring topic to discuss.

INFO NIGHT - MARCH 30th

We're starting a new International Alpha Course this Spring. Alpha is a course that creates a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life, meaning, and God.
Every evening has a different topic, but we always start with a good meal.

March 30th we're organizing an info night where you can get a taste of what Alpha is like and where you can ask all your questions.

The evening starts at 8 PM at SKLO, snacks, and drinks are provided.

Next week it Passionweek in Groningen. Throughout the week you can listen to different talks around the question 'Your future what about it?', adressing faith, purpose, the meaning of life etc.

On March 16th SKLO (Kraneweg 33) is opening it's doors for you to come, watch and discuss a talk about 'How to live a meaningful life' by Prof. dr Benno van den Toren. He is a professor in intercultural theology and minister in Groningen.

We'll provide pizza and snacks. The only thing you have to do is to let us know that you're coming!

This time we'll watch the movie 'Welcome', which depicts the story of Bilal who sets off on an adventure-filled journey across Europe and wants to get to England to see his love who lives there.
