Thank you Brabant. You filled every corner. Literally.

We ended up with hours of footage because something was always happening.

A laugh here, a dance there, workshops buzzing, games in full swing, the photobooth going wild, music drifting through the halls, vendors chatting nonstop, people discovering new flavors, new makers, new stories and strangers becoming a little less strange.

This year felt different. Busier in the best way. More diverse. More musical. More heart. More alive.

Thank you to every visitor, vendor, volunteer, artist, partner and performer. You turned an idea into a living, breathing celebration of togetherness and made the whole place glow.

Winter gezelligheid isn’t just a tagline. You proved it. See you again next year. Please bring the same energy please.. we loved it.

Warning… this post might be a bit long.

There are no words to describe how we feel. Emotional maybe. And of course happy, grateful, and yes… tired. 😅

Time flew and we enjoyed every single second. Yesterday many of us, especially internationals, truly felt the meaning of gezelligheid. It was such a good day.💙

We are deeply grateful to all the visitors, the hosts, the artists, the communities, the cultural organisations, the vendors, the producers, the videographers and photographers, the podcast and radio streaming live, the press, and of course… the volunteers.

Today is the Day of the Volunteers and we can simply say: no volunteers, no Winter Market. You made every second possible. A million thanks. 🙏

We worked for months to make this five hour event happen. Now we will take a couple of months’ break and then we begin again with full heart.

Special shout out to three wonderful entrepreneurs joining us:

Binita Nepali from Khajahuis. She brings the flavors of the Himalayas to Eindhoven with her authentic Nepali takeaway dishes.

Asra Fatima from Mooiziel. Asra creates sustainable skincare and makeup made with natural ingredients and absolutely no plastic.

And Sara Siwek from Coquelicot. This sourdough craft bakery offers organic, artisanal breads and pastries. Coquelicot began as a pop-up inside the iconic Radio Royaal in Strijp S and has grown into a beloved local brand known for quality, honesty, and modern food culture.
