We are still here at JFK Airport. After spending three hours inside the airport, sitting at the gate and waiting for our flight, we were suddenly informed that our flight had been canceled.
We are not American citizens. We have no family or friends here to help us. We paid a lot for this trip, a special family vacation planned to create beautiful memories for our children, and instead it has turned into a nightmare.
There are no available flights until the 26th, and we have already paid for everything in Orlando — hotel, parks, and activities. Meanwhile, here at the airport, we are receiving no real support: no hotel, no food assistance, no proper guidance, and no solution.
Families with children, elderly passengers, and people with special needs are being left in this situation without the help they need.
How can passengers be treated this way?
This is not only disrespectful to tourists like us, but also disappointing for a country that welcomes millions of visitors every year. JetBlue should be ashamed of the way this situation has been handled.
We are still here, without our luggage, without knowing what happens next, and feeling completely abandoned.
This is not the way passengers should be treated. JetBlue 👎🏻
