Some goodbyes are harder than others.

Last Friday we took a picture with colleagues.. or at least, that was the plan.

Leonard looked around and said: ”I don’t have any colleagues.”

True, Leonard. But what you DO have is a lifetime of amazing ones 😉

After years of dedication, hard work and countless memories in the horticulture, the time has come for a well deserved new chapter.

And today is his birthday! 🎂
Physically 60 years old.

But this playful, energetic and vital man feels so much younger and anyone who knows him will agree.

Soner is one of those people who simply makes things happen.

At Verbeek & Bol he carries important responsibilities from buying and selling pot plants with an impressive depth of knowledge, to making sure every shipment to England passes inspection without a hitch.

He has already been part of our team for 12 years!

Where did our flowers end up this time? 🌸

At a Finnish midsummer party (Juhannus), celebrated right here in Amsterdam.

Making flower crowns is a beloved midsummer tradition in Finland. Every summer, people gather to weave wildflowers and greenery into beautiful hair bands, worn throughout the longest day of the year.

And this year? Our flowers were part of it 💜🇫🇮
