This time, we’re bringing Make Schuren Great Again—no phones, no cameras—just dancing and living in the moment! We’ll be transforming the Grote Zaal at Rembrandt into a club where you can immerse yourself in dancehall, soul, UK garage, bubbeling, and Ecletic.

Our previous Lab featured an exhibition with both Arnhem-based and non-Arnhem-based creators. On February 21st, we’re hosting a Lab where DJs will tell their stories through music at a cultural spot .koffiebar that carries its own narrative. Our goal is to highlight DJs from a different perspective.

LAB805 .koffiebar happening on February 21st, is a concept by ’t Weeshuis, where we create intimate and interactive DJ experiences. We invite artists to perform unique sets at special locations that align with the cultural values of ’t Weeshuis. From coffee bars to creative hubs, each venue contributes to the unique atmosphere that we capture in both sound and visuals. The focus is on recording these sets in different settings, highlighting how the environment and situation shape the music and overall vibe.

This edition celebrates the opening of Heisa coffee bar, where the DJ set blends seamlessly with the vibrant atmosphere. As the baristas prepare coffee and guests come and go, we capture the energy of the moment in both sound and visuals, making each recording a reflection of the dynamic environment.
