this photo was taken the last day of Dekmantel Festival in 2019.

little did we know then that a pandemic would put a stop to the energy, love and hard work we’ve shared with people in this industry for years.

two weeks ago, we got to spread our wings again at verknipt festival. it felt unreal to see all our colleagues again, from stage builders, lighting & sound, catering, production, waste management, artists, stage managers, bar to organisers and other food truck owners.

despite the long year of insecurities and sincere worries about what the future would bring, it was such a lovely weekend. it gave energy, hope and support when we needed it the most. - we’re a team on and off the field.

unfortunately, the thing we feared the most happened and we’re again faced with (probably) another long period of insecurities. this affects the industry on so many levels, from financially, mentally to future growth. it’s just tough.

the feeders will remain, even if we’ve to wait another year - but most of our thoughts go to our organisers: we know how heartbroken you are, how hard you’ve been working to finally again give us a place to serve our food, how thoughtful you are towards us as suppliers although your struggling on a big scale and just how insane difficult the year to come will be IF this turns out to become another “dead” season. - we know.

to all our lovely clients: we love you, you’re the reason we’re doing this. hopefully, we’ll be rocking again soon.

this weekend at Wildeburg, our open-served pitas will do a spectacular comeback topped w deliciousness such as slow-cooked chicken, crispy falafels, duqqa, anis-pickled onions & enough dripping sauce to make your fingers dirtyyy. (🍃 vegan? we always got vegan sauce available, don’t worry - we got you covered (in sauce) tihi).

this weekend, we got the newest pita member on the menu. a pita we have been developing, altering & testing for a while: a Korean BBQ beef* pita (soy-based) served w crunchy vegetables, green salad, pickles & our self-made kimchi- yoghurt sauce (yep, two good stomach bugs in one go)! we got a tiny batch of vegan marinade too, so if you’re vegan & fancy the pita of your lifetime, be quick. See you at this weekend. ⚡️

we need someone who's experienced in food trucking', bars, restaurants or similar industries. who's flexible, reliable & hard working. who's a team player and that loves working under pressure. additionally, it's a must that you enjoy festivals, camping & music!
