Born in Sweden and delivered to the world by a Finnish mother, the first seeds of Donna Tony and his label Silky Tunes, were sown deep into the colorful jungles of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016. Influenced by his journey throughout Brazilian landscapes, his time in Copenhagen and Amsterdam, Silky Tunes quickly grew into a party and music label in its own right, and the perfect platform for Donna Tony to keep up with his roaming spirit for the rest of his life. 💸

Like all good things in life, everything comes back full circle. In his sets, Donna Tony draws on his passion for indigenous cultures and spiritual contexts, especially influenced by productions picked up from the southern hemisphere. 🦎🐢🐝🦋

😱After too many years behind the scenes of Silky Tunes, we’re excited to finally be able to welcome our very own Donna Tony to the Silky spotlight as he will be taking you out on a rowdy journey through mystical forests and trippy universes. 🫥🐸😵‍💫

WHO the HELL is Donna Tony, you might ask. Well, no one knows, and he is not fully sure either. In a way, he is the new kid on the block. In another, he is an ancient figure having been deeply involved in the music scene, hosted parties and DJ sessions in Amsterdam and Sweden for many years as the founder of Silky Tunes. 👀🍌

In his Silky Session, Donna Tony sophistically delivers a playful mixture of 90’s transcendental house, disco, boogie, and overall wavy and floaty cues, balancing between the dark and the bright side of dance music - as always, with a gentle touch of Donna and a punch of Tony. 💥

Shady Lady has slotted herself into the grooves of the Amsterdam dance music scene one boogie at a time. Having moved from Australia to Amsterdam 3 years ago she has now co-founded Dice Nights, has her own livestream show (The Shady Lady Show on Lovelee Radio) and has played for clubs across the Netherlands. Keep your eyes peeled on this Disco Demon. 💃🕺🏼

With a background in dance and theatre performance Shady Lady’s sets are far from ordinary. She is driven to make the dance floor move as much as she does behind the decks, with a push for palpable and joyous tracks. A typical set for her is teaming with emotion, colour, a sense of kitsch aesthetic but with an eclectic knowledge of disco, 80s and house music. 🕶
