Rumors say that next week RANE will unveil its new flagship standalone controller.
That makes this the perfect moment to talk about the last RANE mixer ever produced in the U.S.A. 🇺🇸
Released in 2015 — the same year as the game-changing S9 — it kept the classic American layout RANE was known for.
I loved the minimalistic design and the legendary faders.
I managed to break all of them — but hey, that was part of the job, right? 😎
Solid construction, great sound. The only downside? No built-in effects.
Still — after 10 years— this is always my first-choice machine.
RANE was a true leader of battle mixer:
The 56. The 56S. The Empath.
2006: The TTM 57 with the first built-in integration.
The battle worldwide standard — the RANE 62.
And 2015… this: the TTM 57mk2 🖤
Sadly, “Mark II” marked the end of the golden era of RANE mixers.
A new standard redefined not only the look, but also the “quality” of all modern DJ gear…
But hey… who knows?
Maybe one day we’ll see a true comeback:
TTM 57 mk III
— Challenge accepted? 😏
Legendary status deserves a sequel!🎚️✨
And you? Which legendary piece of gear would you like to see continued? 🤔
