When I was 14, an older friend from my neighborhood brought a DJ setup over to my place (shout-out to Maciej J.), and I started mixing music. Seven years later, after moving abroad, I could finally afford my first Technics 1210 MK2s and start scratching.
A lot has changed since then, and at some point I stopped believing I would ever compete in the legendary DMC DJ competition.
Eventually, Dj ChedeRac convinced me to enter this year’s DMC Poland - thank you, Champ!
I stepped into battle with some dope Polish scratchers: Beczki, Chederac and Krotki Thank you for that battle! 🙌
Week ago, after 22 years, I fulfilled a childhood dream - I entered and won DMC Poland 2026 in the Scratch category... 🥇
I’m grateful for everything I have in my life, and I know this title won’t change much about my everyday life. But I’m genuinely happy that I finally did something I had lacked the courage to do for many years.
And what comes next?
✈️ In November, I’m flying to London to represent Poland 🇵🇱 at the DMC World Finals DMC World Championships ! 📣
I’m incredibly excited, but I know this achievement is not only the result of persistence and hard work. The support of the people closest to me gave me the confidence and motivation to keep going.
A huge thank you to my Wife Marta Wiśniewska , who has always supported me and my passion ❤️🔥. To my Family and Friends who were with me in Warsaw, and to those who couldn’t be there in person but are always with me in spirit. 🙏
Without you, none of this would have been possible.
I also want to thank Piotr Maciag and the entire DMC Poland Crew DMC Poland Huge respect for proving that world-class DJ events can be created in Poland - and for doing it with such a great atmosphere. 👊
And one last thing - for all those who still hesitate to make a move and chase their dreams:
It doesn’t matter if someone tells you something is impossible or that you won’t make it...
…in the end, what matters most is whether you believe in yourself.
