I’ve always wanted to go to ADE when I was younger but have never been able to afford it. Now i’m a little older but i’m glad to finally tick this off my list. To be completely honest these past few years I felt lost in music, yes we have streams but it all seemed pointless. I didn’t know what was next. BUT..now I know.

If you’ve been following my story, you’ll know what happened, and it wasn’t very nice. But, that’s reignited a fire in me to succeed, one that I last felt when I was a kid trying to get my first DJ gig.

Today, 12 years in the game, 10m streams and counting, and multiple festivals later, my mind is clear. I know EXACTLY what needs to be done, and I have the right people around me.

I’m gonna enjoy the rest of 2024 travelling and tasting the fruits of my hard work because in 2025, it will be ‘s year. I know it 🫶🏽

Thank you to every single one of you for helping us keep the dream alive. The older I get, the more of a stretch goal it seems to make music a full time career but we’re just gonna keep going and see where we end up. 💯

Faz played at on his own, and I played at the show at Cambodia.

After that we played together in Thailand and it was the best show ever.

Our final stop for this month will be at Thailand tomorrow for another pre party one day before the main festival!

After that i’m gonna chill at Thailand for abit. Never knew that flying between countries was gonna give a different kind of fatigue 😅

Do you know what it feels like to have everything that you worked so hard for be put on an indefinite hold?

And yes, I know the script. Infections rising, beds in the ICU limited, one death is one death too many..

But we’ve been averaging 3000 cases daily. We’ve been having 12 daily deaths reported like it means nothing, and this is despite the current restrictions.

Doesn’t this mean that this s**t just isn’t working out?

If we’re really treating this like an endemic, then why behave like it’s a day 1 pandemic?

It doesn’t make sense to open clubs overnight, I know. But where’s the plan? Where’s the roadmap?

Cant you give us an update or at least communicate something to let us know what you still remember us?

At this point it’s hard to even try and have hope.

We’ve been kept in the dark for too long and we need answers.

Do I want to do this? No.

But it’s been close to two years, and I feel that people who worked in nightlife don’t have a voice. We didn’t even get representation on the big stage.

We weren’t ok with losing our jobs overnight, but we got used to it.

We may not be the biggest industry, but i’m sure tourists don’t come to Singapore just to try our Chicken rice.

An industry is still an industry, and these people have worked their whole lives to get to where they were, just to lose it overnight.

Now it’s been some time and there’s still no mention of us, no roadmap, no plan, nothing. If there was a plan then we sure as hell have been kept in the dark.

In the coming days i’ll share exactly what my friends and I have been feeling, but with my own voice.

And before some du***ss from the scene tries to shoot me down for trying to act like I speak for everyone; I don’t care about who drives the stupid bus, I just wanna make sure it’s moving again.

When proposed that our passion project be called local, we had debate on whether or not it was a good idea because somewhere down the line, we were specifically told that using the word ‘local’ had a negative connotation to it; but there shouldn’t be, hence we stuck with .

At the end of the day, we just wanna blend good music with scenic venues to help keep the music alive in unprecedented times like these.
