🌈 Amsterdam is proud to host 2026!

From 25 July to 8 August, Amsterdam welcomes visitors from around the world for 15 days of celebrations, cultural events, sports, conferences and, of course, the iconic Canal Parade.

This year's edition is especially meaningful, as it also marks 25 years since The Netherlands became the first country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage, a milestone that reflects a long-standing Dutch value: the belief 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 🧡

While acceptance and tolerance should never be taken for granted, we believe it is something The Netherlands can be proud of and continue to stand for. 🍹 Strand van Oost: recently opened in lush Oosterpark this hidden city beach is your perfect spot for drinks, bites, and games.

⛴️ Ferry: a waterfront hotspot situated in a renovated station ferry, overlooking the IJ. Perfect for long summer evenings and events.

🌿 Vooges aan 't IJ: one of Amsterdam's most popular waterfront terraces, combining a relaxed Southern European beach vibe with plenty of space for summer events, BBQs and group meals.

June kept us busy, but one event definitely stood out.

A magical summer evening with 140 guests at the breathtaking , just outside in the very south of the Netherlands. A venue so unique, it almost feels 'un-Dutch'.

As the skies darkened and summer thunderstorms threatened to steal the show, we kept our fingers crossed. Luckily, the showers passed us by, leaving us with the perfect setting for drinks and dinner on the château's stunning terrace, followed by a memorable party in its iconic marl caves. ✨

Yesterday we joined a bike tour through Amsterdam to explore three newly renovated hotel openings — each with its own unique story and character.

1️⃣ The Manor Amsterdam

Jeroen joined the team in 2022 and brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality and DMC services. Originally from Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (Zeeland province), he studied at hotel school in Tilburg, completed an internship in Amsterdam… and never really left. From restaurants and grand cafés to hotels and destination management, hospitality has always been at the heart of his career.

His favourite Dutch destination? . Why?
