Jeroen joined the team in 2022 and brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality and DMC services. Originally from Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (Zeeland province), he studied at hotel school in Tilburg, completed an internship in Amsterdam… and never really left. From restaurants and grand cafés to hotels and destination management, hospitality has always been at the heart of his career.

His favourite Dutch destination? . Why?

🚀 Rotterdam is a city built on resilience, innovation and bold urban development. Rebuilt after WWII, Rotterdam has become one of Europe’s most dynamic, untraditional and forward-thinking destinations, truly unlike anywhere else in the Netherlands (and, arguably, Europe).

🏙️ The MICE possibilities are endless. From an increasing number of large hotels and conference venues to standout restaurants and unique experiences, Rotterdam keeps evolving as an events destination. Add excellent accessibility (with its own airport, just 45 minutes by rail or road from Amsterdam Airport, plus strong connections to the wider European rail network) and the city becomes an incredibly practical choice too.

Last week, we organised an intimate yet impressive evening for just over 100 guests at Capital C Amsterdam. A dinner where heritage, creativity and technology met. Playful, refined and truly one of a kind. ✨

Together with Maison van den Boer, we had the pleasure of creating a 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿: a culinary experience where each course was inspired by a different Dutch Master, blending art, storytelling and gastronomy into one immersive evening. 🎨

Guests arrived by boat (as only makes sense in ), setting the tone for a truly local and atmospheric start to the night.

A highlight of the menu was the second course, inspired by ’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, featuring trout, pearl and oyster, a refined nod to one of the Netherlands’ most iconic works of art. 🖼️

Throughout the evening, the experience came to life in every detail: staff dressed as living paintings, and an AI photo booth (the undeniable highlight of the night) allowing guests to transform themselves into 17th-century Dutch Master portraits.

This is a perfect example of why working with a matters: the right venues, the right concepts, and the right suppliers make all the difference.
