What got you inspired to go dj-ing?
Besides going to a lot of parties within the late ninetees, around Breda, Haarlem, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, I got inspired by several house and techno DJ’s like Jeff Mils, Sven Vath, Dimitri, Marcello, Isis, Jean. And I were always listening to Radio 538 Van Diepen’s Dance Department. I copied the music on several tapes and listened back the mix tapes over and over again. That made me buy two vinyl players and starting practicing mixing for 6 month before I got my first gig at a cool party in Breda.
Which party got you amazed to be a DJ?
Dancevalley and Extrema outdoor and of course the IT and Chemistry at the Escape (where I got invited to play also a few times). Later on I got really amazed of Awakenings in-and outdoor (festivals). And also Welcome to the Future Festival and Loveland. Specifically loving pure techhouse and techno music.
Where can we find you mostly performing and/or producing?
By weekly on Thursday I host a techhouse techno live stream radio show at at DHC.FM with the collab of the Trinity Chronic Music people. I have several residencies in Amsterdam like, Schuim, Kashmir Lounge, Kobalt and also invited a lot at other (beach) clubs and concepts in Amsterdam, Like Kaap, Café Brandon and many more. All to be followed on my socials. On top of that being busy with starting up parties (oh yes).
