It was such a memorable experience! The ‘Spring Garden’ Floral Workshop in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands, was led by me, , and beautifully organised by two wonderful US entrepreneurs, Kari and Laura , with a group of 12 enthusiastic students.

We were privileged to work with some of the most stunning spring blooms: Ranunculus Romance and Ranunculus Butterfly from the leading Dutch grower , and the sweetest sweet peas from .nl.

New Japanese 🇯🇵 blog on ❤️

I’m excited to start a series of blogs about Japan! This weekly blog, Japan, My Love!, begins with a chapter about the incredible Japanese people I met during my trip last year.

I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people: the elegant kimono specialist , who appears with me on the cover; the beautiful cosplay artist and her lovely manager Matt; my dear colleague .asayama; the sweet .roses_japan; and, of course, my dearest friend Toshi.

We celebrated Toshi’s 80th birthday last year, and today is his birthday again! My friend .asayama made a lovely bouquet for him.

This artistic early spring bouquet was selected by Homo Faber Guide as part of my portfolio represented by the guide. I’m proud to be a member of this leading European initiative by the Michelangelo Foundation, a community dedicated to promoting craftsmanship, and have been part of it since 2021.

I created this bouquet using an enigmatic color palette: white, lavender, purple, blue, and eucalyptus green, featuring two contrasting shades of anemones, tulips, eucalyptus, and some delicate early spring branches.

I absolutely love this bouquet and the stunning series of images captured by Dutch photographer Cher van Pelt

Some of you might be wondering about the enigmatic model holding the bouquet. Let me introduce you to my dear friend Shalini Audhoe , a multifaceted talent from the Netherlands. She is an actress, model, dancer, singer, and martial artist, holding two Master’s degrees in Psychology. Shalini also graduated as an actress.

She has appeared in both theater and screen productions, most notably portraying Rupi Rampasat in the 6th season (2024) of the Dutch crime series Mocro Maffia, streaming internationally this year. Her theater credits include She Kills Monsters (2024) and the musical Chicago (2023), where she played Go-to-Hell Kitty and June.

Shalini was crowned Miss Indian Beauty Queen Netherlands and later earned the titles Miss Indian Globe 2018 and Miss Global India 2019.

Beyond the arts, she’s a fierce athlete, she became the Dutch National Boxing Champion in 2010 and District Champion in 2011. Her passion for boxing and martial arts continues to this day.

I love Shalini with all my heart and am incredibly proud to call this powerful, beautiful woman my friend! Hope you enjoy the story.

It was the honour of a lifetime to participate in the incredible Homo Faber 2024: The Journey of Life, which took place in Venice this September. I am humbled to be among 400 artisans and artists who contributed to this remarkable exhibition. It was a true pleasure to create the piece Throne of The Rose Fairy for the Afterlife section, in collaboration with the brilliant Amsterdam-based sculptor and artist Cedric Laquieze .

I love the set design of the Afterlife room, especially the gold-plated pyramid structure where our work is displayed.
