Overwhelmed by the number of events, social media activity, and other things happening all at the same time people can have FOMO or get numb. dot and salt produces art events that are unique and can only be seen and experienced. It’s a kind of immersive-art, that implies a broad range of art performances: they are united by the originality of the form, platform, or contact with the viewer, as well as a wide spectrum of genres.

Presence design - it’s the creation of conditions where people can be fully present. It can be a very exciting creative journey or a contemplative walk in nature. The key is to be fully there, here and now. That’s what my events were always about and this is the direction I would like it to develop. This summer I am opening a circle of public events created in collaboration with different artists, organisations and musicians! Exciting times ahead. “I’m so tired of this. How long can it even take. I’m done, I’m done, I’m done.”
Sounds familiar? We all need a good let go every now and then.

In the oldest written myth in human history, the Sumerian goddess Inanna descends into the underworld. At each of seven gates she surrenders something: her crown, her jewels, her power. She arrives at the bottom with nothing. And then she rises.

This Thursday in Amsterdam, I’m opening seven gates. Not a workshop. Not a ceremony with cacao and sound bath. An immersive installation you physically move through - small group, consciously releasing what no longer belongs to you, so something new can arrive.

I was in transition from art to entrepreneurship and back to art. This step aside, from one mindset and identification into another role, helped me to see more, to broaden my vision and learn more about human nature. Not being only in one bubble, but stepping into another one.
Now, coming back to my art practice, which I will combine with my entrepreneurship dot and salt experiential agency - I integrate both worlds and have something important to say.

There is a framework that explains exactly what I lived through. And what most people and organizations go through when they change without even knowing it.
Arnold van Gennep called it the Rites of Passage. Three phases. And they change everything. Look at the slides I created, there’s a map for you.

International Women’s Day is coming, and I keep thinking about what this day actually means.

For me, it’s always been about real independence and power - the kind that doesn’t ask women to climb the same ladder men built. For years, I tried to play by those rules. I pushed hard, worked harder, and was hardest on myself. It brought “success” and burnout. Twice. And that forced me to stop and look inward. That’s where I found Maureen Murdock’s Heroine’s Journey. Unlike Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey (the one we’re all taught), Murdock’s framework maps a different path: one that acknowledges the cost of climbing, the necessity of descent, and the reclamation that follows.

This isn’t theory for me. It’s lived experience and it’s the foundation of the work I now create for other women. I design embodied workshops for professional women navigating: Burnout and the question of “what’s next”→ Strategic pivots that require internal realignment→ Leadership transitions and identity shifts

The format: Not lecture. Not motivation. A lived experience. Symbolic and creative practices→ Guided transitions through the stages of the Heroine’s Journey→ Ritual structure (conscious actions in a specific order that create transformation) If you’re organizing something for March 8 and want an alternative to the usual format or if your team needs a reset that goes deeper than a motivational talk - let’s talk.

As an artist myself, I remember that narrative well, the fear of “selling out,” of becoming commercial, of losing yourself in the world of money. But this world isn’t so black and white.
As the songs go: “money makes the world go round” and “we are living in a material world and I am a material girl.” The truth is somewhere in between the extremes, somewhere more nuanced than artists like to admit when they’re protecting their purity.

Begging of the year feels like a new start, so I decide to make it structured!

So I put together a simple overview of what I do with dot & salt: from small idea sessions, short team formats, to full immersive experiences.
Different ways to create something meaningful, depending on where you are and what you actually need.
These slides are showing that there are many ways to make a moment feel alive, even without a huge production.

Hi! It’s Lyubov - fonder of dot and salt. At the end of 2025, I offered a few free creative consultations as a small donation to the world.
I ended up doing three sessions (apparently everyone was very busy), but something important became clear to me.
This format works.

People come with:
– a vague idea that feels promising but undefined
– an event or format that feels too conventional or empty
– a sense that something is missing, but no clear language yet

I’m now offering Experience & Event concept consulting - a focused space to explore unusual, non-standard formats for events and experiences.

For teams and producers who feel that something is missing, but don’t want generic solutions.

Every year has a sound - some tracks we choose, others choose us. house and .and.salt present - ATTUNE is an evening dedicated to sound. Through music, a sound oracle, and a collective installation, we use sound as a way to reflect on the year - what stayed with us, what moved us, and what is already calling us forward.
