🏥 Food Rescue Hospital Update! 🥕🍎
We’re deep into our new Food Preservation Workshop Series at the Food Rescue Hospital, and what a delicious, wasteless journey it’s been! This workshops series has arrived at De Sering in collaboration with and 🤩
Since we started in November, our team of staff and volunteers have been turning mountains of rescued produce into incredible, valuable ingredients - saving edible food from landfills and proving that “damaged goods” can be delicious!
Swipe to see some of the amazing things we’ve been brewing, pickling, and preserving lately. This time highlighting a gorgeous kohlrabi pickle (last slide)! These ingredients will be integrated back into the famous Wasteless Dinners at TBYW and onto De Sering’s daily community kitchen menu.
The Food Rescue Hospital is a critical, living blueprint for low-waste, locally sourced, and preservation-based hospitality and education.
