19. Wedding location | inspiration🌟
Wow, I just realized it’s been almost a year since I last shared a location visit! In the meantime, I’ve explored other places and, of course, visited some stunning venues for V&V weddings. But can you guess where this one is? 💭
It’s an iconic hotel in Amsterdam that almost everyone knows, thanks to its central location on Dam Square. Somehow, I’d never had the time or opportunity to visit—until now! 👀
Did you know this location started as a coffee house in 1866? Now, it’s a spacious hotel with over 400 rooms—which is huge!! 💥
One of its architectural highlights, in my opinion, is the Winter Garden (the name perfectly matched yesterday’s endlessly rainy day btw 🌧️🥹) - a gorgeous, bright space with modern elements like glass and steel. It reminds me of a mix between a unique train station and a botanical orangery. The White Room also really stands out with its timeless elegance 🤍🤍.
I also discovered there are so many options here, from accommodating large guest numbers to offering exclusivity, spa possibilities, multiple event rooms, and even flexible sound limits—not something you often see in a hotel in Amsterdam. So glad I finally got to experience the beauty of Hotel Anantara Grand Krasnapolsky. Thanks for the fun tour and all the info, Mafalda and Jean! ✨
