🎶 Artist Announcement: Hardcore Buddhist (Cosmicleaf Records) 🎶
Hardcore Buddhist is a Netherlands-based electronic music project known for its genre-defying sound—fusing chilled-out atmospheres with progressive grooves and psychedelic depth. Blending psybient, downtempo, progressive chill, and psychill styles, the project takes listeners on vivid, emotionally charged sonic journeys filled with rich textures, cosmic vibes, and a touch of the unexpected.
Launched officially in 2016 but rooted in a love for sound design since 2007, Hardcore Buddhist made its debut with the album Being Nothing on Vertigo Records. Since then, the project has released music on labels such as Mystic Sound, Sentimony, Microcosmos, and most notably, Cosmicleaf Records—its home base since 2019, where multiple albums and EPs have shaped a signature soundscape.
Hardcore Buddhist's tracks are filled with uplifting storytelling, trippy sound design, and romantic, oriental-psychedelic influences, often featuring expressive guitar layers and dynamic shifts in energy. Collaborations with artists like Zero Cult, Lab's Cloud, Side Liner, Kick B**g, Dense, and Zymosis have further enriched the sonic palette.
Performing across Europe and beyond—including countries like Norway, Poland, Germany, Finland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Romania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Oman, and countless festivals in Ukraine—Hardcore Buddhist continues to evolve, connect, and inspire through music that moves both body and soul.
