Frenzy Podcast 236 - Roll Dann

Taking us into episode 234 is Roll Dann, a Madrid-based DJ and producer whose precise, groove-focused approach has established him as a rising presence within the international techno underground. As a resident at Laster, one of Madrid’s key platforms for contemporary techno, he has developed a distinctive sound rooted in rolling low-end, sharp percussion and hypnotic repetition.

With releases on labels such as Klockworks, Soma, Hayes Collective, Mutual Rytm and Mord, his productions reflect the same restraint and technical precision found in his DJ sets. Having performed at renowned events and venues including Awakenings Upclose, Stone Techno Festival, FOLD, RSO and Tresor, Roll Dann continues to make his mark across the European underground.

This episode captures his set for Laster at Radion Amsterdam: a focused journey through hypnotic grooves, subtle tension and uncompromising dancefloor pressure. Enjoy!

Tonight Frenzy and Shockwerk come together again at RADION! We ask you to read the house rules carefully; holding a ticket implies that you are aware of and agree to them.

Below you can find the final details for the event:

• Timings & Location: Doors open at 23:00, with Entrance until 5am(Location: RADION, Louwesweg 1, 1066 EA, Amsterdam). Entrance is permitted until 05:00.
• Age: This event is 18+.
• Payments: Please note that the event is card/PIN only, but bring a €2 coin for the locker!
• Smoking: You cannot purchase ci******es at the venue.
• Hearing Protection: Don’t forget to bring your earplugs; you only have one pair of ears.
• Phone Policy: We want everyone to live in the moment, so no photos or videos are allowed. Your camera will be taped off at the entrance. The organization will ensure that the moments are captured.
• Photo: photographer, Lisanne, will capture photos with respect for your privacy. If you feel uncomfortable being filmed, feel free to let her know!
• Safety: The dance floor is a safe space for everyone. If you witness irresponsible behavior, harassment, or any other unsafe situation, please reach out to the nearest bar staff or the club care team at RADION.
• Merchandise: will be available in the Cafe area from both Frenzy and Shockwerk.

FrenzyPodcast 234 - SAMA

This week a fresh podcast by SAMA, his music still has some obvious SAMA-esque sounds and arrangements, accompanied by an almost signature big-room vibe that, however hard he tries, he can’t seem to shake off. With that said, it entails a darker, more metallic and grittier sound with an almost always present sense of urgency to it, while still keeping a big focus on a dark, driving groove. SAMA’s tracks are riddled with small intricacies, a heavy focus on sounddesign and an infinitely perfectionist mindset; a Maximalist approach to a Minimalist sound, if you will.

Frenzy Podcast 234 - Vilchezz

Next up is the one and only Vilchezz! Originally from Andalucía and now based in Berlin, Vilchezz sees music production as a pure form of expression. Inspired by the dancefloor, he creates tracks that translate personal emotion directly into the club.

With releases on Sublunar, Planet Rhythm, and KEY Vinyl, his sound has earned support from respected names across the scene. This mix is made up entirely of unreleased tracks, all produced by Vilchezz himself.

Frenzy Podcast 233 - GLIA

For episode 233, we welcome GLIA. She is a Berlin-based artist originally from Slovenia, shaping a distinctive sound between raw techno, hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric sound design. Since her debut album on Diffuse Reality in 2023, she has continued to evolve through DJing, production and a deep fascination with rhythm, texture and sonic tension.

With releases on Suara, Bipolar Disorder and Molekül, and performances at RSO, Tresor, Lofi and many more, GLIA has built a reputation for precise, immersive sets that balance driving momentum with subtle detail.

Expect a hypnotic journey through deep grooves, tension and carefully crafted textures from an artist constantly pushing her sound forward. Enjoy!
