Throwback Thursday

A teacher from Hotelschool once told me when I asked him for feedback that I am an Eagle pretending to be a Sparrow. I was 19 at the time and I didn't get why he was saying that as I never really was a shy person.But that comment stuck with me for many years. Over the years I came to find out what he meant with that comment.As you grow older(man I sound so old now) you learn more about yourself and what you stand for.Your likes, your dislikes. In my life I was always pretty sure of what I wanted and made sure to achieve it.

So here I was, 25 years of age, living my best life abroad but what was next? I decided to evaluate my life thusfar and set course for what I wanted to achieve next. I made 3 lists. 1 stating what I am currently doing list 2 stated what actually makes me happy and the third entailed my short and longterm goals to bridge those gaps. Organizing events and singing stuck out!

I stepped out of the shadow and quite literally into the limelight. And now the Eagle is finally behaving like an Eagle. Whatever your path is. Whatever you love to do. Make a plan and do it. If you can dream it you can achieve it.

WOW, that was quite a busy few months! I notice that as soon as things get busy social media is at the bottom of my list of priorities. However I also notice that if you guys don't hear from me you think I'm not planning events anymore hahah but I am. There are a few announcements coming up especially about 2020 but more on that later this week! I had a lot of people asking me to share a bit about myself too so you guys can get to know me. So tomorrow I will :)
