The Professional Dutch Floral Design program is a vocational training course that is focussed on bringing your floristry skills from 0 to professional in an intensive 20-day program.

We are proud of IMF alumna Aleksandra Flak!
Aleksandra recently won 1st prize at the Floral Competition in Italy called Arteflorando last year. This year she participated again, but as an assistant to Beata Sych, and guess what! First prize again!

Beata Sych wraz ze swoją asystentką Aleksandra Flak reprezentowały Polskę podczas międzynarodowego konkursu florystycznego w Leverano we Włoszech - Leverano in Fiore. Dzięki swojej pasji, talentowi, kreatywności i niezwykłemu zaangażowaniu sięgnęły po najwyższe wyróżnienie, zdobywając wspólnie I miejsce!

To sukces, za którym stoją godziny pracy, odwaga do podejmowania wyzwań oraz miłość do sztuki florystycznej. Ich kompozycje zachwyciły jury i udowodniły, że polska florystyka stoi na światowym poziomie.

Ten triumf jest również potwierdzeniem, że Polska od lat należy do ścisłej czołówki światowej florystyki. W ubiegłym roku I miejsce w tym prestiżowym konkursie zdobyła Aleksandra Flak, a dwa lata temu najwyższe laury wywalczył Zygmunt Sieradzan. Trzy lata temu Polska również znalazła się na 1 miejscu reprezentowała ją Eliza Weber .To kolejny rok z rzędu, w którym polscy floryści udowadniają swoją klasę, talent i wyjątkową kreatywność.

Jesteśmy ogromnie wzruszeni i dumni. Serdecznie gratulujemy Beacie i Aleksandrze tego wyjątkowego osiągnięcia. Niech ten sukces będzie inspiracją do realizacji kolejnych marzeń i dowodem na to, że pasja, determinacja i ciężka praca potrafią prowadzić na sam szczyt.

Polska siłą światowej florystyki!

Altijd al bloemist willen worden? Maak je droom werkelijk en begin je nieuwe carrière met een bloemschik opleiding van het Boerma Instituut in Aalsmeer.

Het Boerma Instituut is een internationaal bekend opleidingsinstituut, vlak naast de grootste bloemenveiling van de wereld.

De Vakopleiding Bloemschikken is de perfecte opleiding voor mensen die willen beginnen in het bloemen vak, want het leert je alle basistechnieken die je nodig hebt om goed geschikt bloemwerk te maken.

De opleiding zelf duurt 20 lesdagen en de lesdagen zijn van 10:00 tot 15:45, vaak heb je twee tot soms drie onderwerpen op een dag.

Je zult les krijgen van verschillende bloemschikdocenten die al jaren lang internationale ervaring hebben in het vak.

We beginnen 10 september met de eerstvolgende vakopleiding.

September 1 -3 Special Floral Event Design Course by two incredibly event florists; Bill Schaffer and Kris Kratt from Schaffer Designs.

You will learn everything, from planning, calculating, to sketching and hands on creating.

Schaffer Designs does top-end floral events, think from weddings with 800 attendees, to big industry events. So they have tons of experience to draw from during their classes.

The New Texture and Color Program by Frédéric Dupré, at the Boerma Instituut starts June 29th!

It's an intensive 5-day training program delving deep into the subject of Texture and Color and how to apply it to floristry.

Have you ever made a design that is proportionally great, with good flower placement, but somehow it felt off? It's probably a texture issue!

Frédéric has developed his own theory on the subject and during these 5 days, he will guide you through the process, from theory to hands-on, we will make sure you are able to add these skills to your floral toolkit.

Always dreamt of becoming a florist? September 7th the new vocational floristry program at the Boerma Instituut in Aalsmeer Holland starts again!

This is a 20-day intensive training program that teaches you a wide variety of styles and techniques necessary for working in a flowershop; from bridal work to handtied bouquets in different styles, from sympathy flowers to table arrangements.

At the end of the program there is an exam and on succesful passing you will be awarded a Professional Dutch Floral Design Diploma.

You can follow all 20 days in one row, or split it up in several modules, for example; join for the first two weeks in September and then the last two weeks in Spring 2027.
