THE EGGS 🥚🥚 DON'T TASTE LIKE THEY USED TO..... OR IS IT JUST ME? 🤔

This morning I craved noodles and eggs, so I simply made that for breakfast 😋

But honestly, I didn't enjoy the eggs as much as I expected. It was totally tasteless and just different from what I remember growing up.

This got me thinking…

Why do eggs taste awful these days?

Growing up, I remember the eggs from our local free-range chickens having a particular taste. Wholesome, delicious, with a fine yellow yoke that fills your mouth and leaves you satisfied. Today, we have so many different poultry production systems, and I sometimes wonder whether the way chickens are raised and fed could be contributing to the differences we notice.

Maybe it's the feed.
Maybe it's the breed.
Maybe it's the way the birds are raised.
Maybe it's freshness or storage.

Or perhaps it's simply my taste buds changing with age. 😂😂

But seriously, have you noticed it too?

Do you think eggs tasted better "back in the days," or is this just nostalgia talking? 😅

For the poultry farmers and food lovers here: what do you think actually influences the taste of an egg? 🐔🥚

Let's talk! 👇🏽

At Luserene Foods, we believe food is not just about taste. It's also about appreciating and understanding the food we eat. ❤️🍽️
