ROTARIAN JOHN OVWAH
Rotarian John Ovwah, PHF was born on 30th of June in Delta State, Nigeria, and raised in a family that valued integrity, discipline, respect, and strong moral principles; qualities that have shaped his personal and professional journey.
He received his primary education at Ethiope Primary School, Sapele, and completed his secondary education at Okotie-Eboh Grammar School, Sapele. Committed to lifelong learning, he earned a Diploma in Public Administration from Temple Gate University, Aba, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Public Administration from Imo State University, Owerri.
John is an accomplished entrepreneur, travel consultant and business coach with extensive experience in travel and tourism, business development, leadership, and organizational excellence. As the Founder and Chief Executive of several successful business ventures, he is widely recognized for his commitment to innovation, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
He later joined the world’s leading service organization Rotary and has distinguished himself as a dedicated humanitarian and servant leader. He has served in several leadership roles within the club, making significant contributions to membership growth, project implementation, and club administration. His outstanding service has earned him several honours, including recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF).
Beyond his professional and Rotary commitments, John enjoys travelling, reading, music, networking, and building meaningful relationships. He is a strong believer in lifelong learning and values connecting with people from diverse backgrounds; not to fail to metion he is a die hard fan of Arsenal Football Club of England.
Through his entrepreneurial achievements, commitment to humanitarian service, and dedication to ethical leadership, Rotarian John Ovwah continues to inspire others by living the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self and endless impact, to people around him and the world at large. He currently resides in the United Kingdom.
