Tuwon Madara(or alawar madara) is a chewy milk candy that’s popularly eaten in the north .

RECIPE

3 1/2 cup milk powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water

HOW TO MAKE MILK CANDY

Ingredients
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Milk - 2 cups
Vegetable oil

Procedures
Pour the sugar into a pot

Pour in water and stir

Let it boil for some time

Pour in the milk while stirring it

Keep stirring it till it is well incorporated

Pour the milk mixture on a parchment paper and drizzle a little vegetable oil to avoid the candy sticking on the paper

Place another parchment paper on top and press down

Roll it with a rolling pin(CANDLE ROLLING PIN) till it's flat and cut into any shape of your choice.
