Dear Lola Omotayo-Okoye, this bouquet is for you. 💐💐💐💐💐💐
You have faced situations that could have easily pushed you into publicly explaining yourself, giving interviews, throwing subliminal shots, or telling your side of the story online. But you chose a different path.
You stayed quiet. You kept living. You loved your family, celebrated your people, and carried yourself with dignity even when life gave you every reason to respond.
Honestly, I don’t know if I would have had that kind of strength without the help of the Holy Spirit. You have shown a level of grace, restraint, and maturity that is truly admirable.
is fortunate to have a woman who has stood beside him through difficult seasons and remained a pillar for her family. What you have carried is not something everyone would have had the strength to handle.
And honestly, if we are talking about marriage, family, grace and resilience, you have every right to speak from experience. Some of the people giving marriage lectures on social media could actually learn a thing or two from your journey.
May your home continue to experience peace, restoration and God’s blessings. I am also glad that your husband eventually shared his own perspective. Sometimes, speaking about what you’ve experienced is part of the process of healing and moving forward.
And that saying that “blood is thicker than water”? Not every relationship deserves unlimited access simply because there is a family connection. Forgiveness can exist alongside boundaries. You can forgive someone and still choose wisdom, distance and peace.
May God continue to protect you, your husband and your family. May every sacrifice you’ve made produce beautiful fruits.
Woman of the year! 👑❤️
