📖 A Taste of Family, A Taste of Culture
Yesterday, I prepared something truly special – Abacha Salad, an Igbo delicacy that holds a deep place in my heart.
Growing up, my dad often prepared Abacha for us. It wasn’t just food – it was family on a plate. Every bite reminded us of the uniqueness, richness, and beauty of Igbo culture. It brought us together, laughter around the table, and warmth in every moment.
This time, I wanted to recreate that same magic – but with a creative twist. Unlike the roadside versions that sometimes upset your belly, I carefully chose fresh, clean, and wholesome ingredients that not only taste amazing but are gentle and nourishing.
As I served it, my dad shared more wisdom about the creativity of local ingredients – how something so simple can be transformed into an exceptional dish worth celebrating. And the best part? My neighbors and friends couldn’t stop complimenting it after tasting. 🌿✨
