Rumueme medical awareness campaign is a part of the program activities for Rumueme Culture and Heritage Week 2015, it’s designed to sensitize and promote public awareness on health related issues.
Rumueme Culture and Heritage Week (R.U.C.H) is using this platform to roll out it’s Kick-Out Malaria campaign. The activities of this event will include
Distribution of ITN’s (Insecticide Treated Nets ).
Distribution of anti-Malaria drugs (Intervention).
Lectures and distribution of leaflets, brochures. etc
Optometry (free eye examination and intervention).
General health awareness.
We whole heartedly appreciate Crestfield Health Foundation who have partnered with us on this project. We also use medium to appeal to other organizations/donors to be part of this project.

Rumueme culture and heritage week is a project aimed at showcasing our cultural heritage as a people, educating the younger generation about our rich culture, fostering peace and unity amongst our people, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition among our youths and projecting Rumueme to the World.
The week-long event will feature the following activities;

– Football Tournament – Traditional Wrestling – Traditional Dances

– Masquerade Display – Beauty Pageant – Awareness Campaigns

– Lectures – Award/Gala Night – Exhibition – Thanksgiving Service.
