HOW WE MET:

It was a dating platform we came across each other, with Piotr liking my picture, he said hello and I responded, after several weeks of chats we decided to meet physically

FIRST DATE:

We had our ist date on 23rd February 2023 at Turtle bay, NH UK. We had a really nice time so we kind of clicked on that basis especially because we both love good food.

FIRST SURPRISE WITH BEEN WITH HIM:

I was surprised with the fact that this Oyibo(Piotr) as Nigerians fondly call them loved the meal which was rare as it was an African cuisine. He even suggested we streamlined it on our next date to a Nigerian restaurant (sounded like a second invite), I was thrilled to know he was open to try Nigerian meals and it was exciting for me especially because I looked forward to having great meal nothing more. We had several more dates ,one of which he followed me to church, I felt he won’t enjoy it as much as I did because he was the only white there but he told me he enjoyed the difference in their worship style and offered to accompany me if I don’t mind, but I didn’t take anything seriously as I was avoiding getting hurt.

WHAT ATTRACTED ME TO HIM:

At the beginning communications from me was off and on, but one thing I liked about him was how persistently he tried to reach out despite our busy schedule, he was consistent and still is.

PROPOSAL:

Fast forward to Feb this year, he asked me to accompany him to meet his family in Poland, that was when I realised this was getting serious for him. His family were really hospitable and I enjoyed my stay even much more than I anticipated. The time we spent there made us bond and we both felt the connection. When we returned back to the U.K, he suggested we visit my Country too so he can see where I’m from. We traveled to Nigeria in March and spent 2weeks visiting Abuja and Lagos respectively. It was so much fun and laughter meeting with friends and family. It was his first time visiting Nigeria and on March 28th 2024 at the beach in Lagos, he popped the question and I said a big yes!!! And today what we share has brought us to this point.

Young and focused me that year kept seeing this Agbani, the most breathtaking girl with a mind blowing, slow and elegant creepy steps in the entire fellowship. Each time we crossed paths, I had this connection with her, but I kept doing the Lord's work, knowing that my God would fight for me and I would hold my peace E Truely she was always this silent desire of my heart at each glance. Little did I know, that what i was chasing after Omohhh. was also chasing after me. Fast forward to the time a beautiful day came when babe fell right into my love trap le) and since then I have never ceased to envision a world without this empress called Victoria. And here we are today standing together regardless of the distance (7 years) that nature threw at us and the numerous discouragements from various quarters. Baby girl, it's with grit, faith, patience, and consistency that the universe has brought us together as one forever. Fentoria is the resounding echo of this blissful union of ours
