Di suspect dey charge N80,500 for 32 pages passport wit 5 years validity and N100,500 for 64 pages 5years validity passport. Dem dey charge N165,000 for 64 pages of passport wey get 10 years validity and e dey against di normal official price wey dey NIS website.

According to di tok tok pesin for di command, Deputy Superintendent Oladapo Bayode, pipo bin dey complain about high cost of passport price for Akure and dem dey extort plenti pipo.

“As we hear of di complaints for Akure, di PCO bin send one officer make e disguise as civilian wey wan collect passport and na dia we arrest di suspects,” Bayode tok.
