YOUR AI DRIFTS.

Every vibe coder who added this template to their workflow cut their correction loops in half. Not because the AI got smarter. Because the prompt got cleaner.

I was tired of being “just the creative guy.” So I learned to think in numbers. In less than 2 years, everything changed.

Here’s what I wish someone told me earlier about growing quickly in corporate as a creative:

1. Value Over Money
There’s nothing wrong with doing beyond what you’re paid for - provided your hands can actually do it within your job description.

Don’t burn out doing everyone’s job. But where you can genuinely bring value? Do it.
Not for free. For access.

2. Switch From Technical to Commercial
This is the real unlock: Think in numbers.
Stop thinking like a creative or boring techie. Start thinking like a CEO while acting like an entrepreneur.

Learn to speak the language of leadership:

* How does your work impact revenue?
* What’s the ROI of your projects?
* How do your ideas reduce costs or increase efficiency?

When I started framing my creative work in business terms, I stopped being “the design guy.”

I became someone leadership needed in strategy meetings.

The shift:
* Before: “I made a great design”
* After: “This design increased conversions by 23% and brought in ₦2M in new revenue”
See the difference?

What’s one project you’ve worked on that you can reframe in commercial terms?

I used 25% of my 13th month salary in 2024 to buy my boss a gift (hamper). In less than a year, he sponsored my event and we became partners.

Someone asked me: “As a creative in the industry, how can I grow quickly in the corporate space?”

Here’s what most people won’t tell you:

Your talent gets you in the room. But strategic relationships get you to the table.

Last December, while everyone was collecting groundnut oil and rice from the company, I did something different. I gathered part of my 13th month salary, bought a hamper, and gave it to my CEO.

He acted like he didn’t care. But he did.
That one move unlocked three things:

1. ACCESS
I wasn’t just another employee anymore. I became someone he paid attention to.

2. RESPECT
He saw I wasn’t just working for a paycheck - I was thinking about relationships and long-term value.

3. PARTNERSHIP
Within a year, he didn’t just sponsor my event - we became business partners.

The Lesson:

Growing quickly in corporate isn’t about:
* Working longer hours
* Being the most talented
* Waiting for your turn
It’s about thinking differently about relationships.

While others see their salary as spending money, see it as investment capital.
While others wait for opportunities, create access.

While others see a boss, see a potential partner.

You’re not buying favour. You’re investing in relationships that your skills alone can’t build.

What’s one strategic move you can make this season that changes how you’re positioned?

Imagine getting this sweet message from your kid sister after a long day at work —
she’s turning 7.

“Hey Mr. Solomon! It’s my birthday 🎉 Can you make me a flyer?”

Well… she never actually said that 😅
But as her big brother — and a creative storyteller — I knew I had to make something special.

What started as a simple idea became a full creative story.
Beyond just designing a flyer, this video captures something deeper:

— Animation
— Storytelling
— Thoughtful creativity

Because great design isn’t just about what people see —
it’s about what they feel.

I ran out of business cards at the worst time.

People kept asking. I had nothing to give.

So I redesigned everything. Made it modern, put my face on it, added client logos, included a QR code straight to my work.

Now when I hand someone my card after explaining what I do? Everything clicks instantly.

Because the card does what I needed it to do: make me memorable.

Like when Bottles & Glasses saw their sales drop 9% in 2024. We relaunched in April 2025. Six months later? +45% growth.

The WhatsApp widget alone converts at 34% (6x the industry average).

That’s what happens when strategy meets ex*****on.

Your brand isn’t just a logo. It’s how people remember you and decide to work with you.

Make every touchpoint count.

Your business isn't broken ❌. It's just too scattered.

I used to wear many hats: , strategist, IT expert, and . The result? Burnout. No scalability. Just burnout.

By streamlining my services from 7 to 4, I created systems, secured recurring revenue, and a clear path to $80K this year. To grow, prioritize what matters.
