Decor elements people ignore but matter a lot.
1. Floor Finishing
Many decorators focus only on the backdrop and tables but forget the floor.
• A plain or dirty floor can make the whole setup look cheap.
• Simple solutions:
o Brand flex
o Rug
o Dance floor tiles
The floor is what guests see first when they walk in.

2. Chair Details
People rent chairs and stop there.
But:
• Chair covers
• Neat sit pad
• Matching sash
• Clean fabric
These small details make the whole space look premium.

3. Lighting
Lighting can change everything.
Many people just use normal hall lights.
But good decorators add:
• Warm lights
• Fairy lights
• beam lights
• Spotlight on backdrop
Lighting creates mood and depth.

4. Table Height & Proportion
Sometimes:
• Centrepieces are too tall
• Or too short
• Or not balanced with the table size
Correct proportion makes the setup look professionally designed.

5. Cable and Equipment Hiding
Visible:
• Extension boxes
• Wires
• Speakers behind backdrop
These things can ruin the beauty of the setup.
Always:
• Tape cables to the floor
• Hide equipment with fabric or brand the area if possible

6. Entrance Styling
Many decorators focus only on the main hall.
But the first impression starts at:
• The entrance
• The walkway
• The welcome sign
• The experience area
Even a small welcome stand makes a big difference.

7. Fabric Cleanliness
Wrinkled fabric is a silent decor killer.
Even expensive materials look cheap when:
• Not clean
• Stained
• Roughly draped
Neatness = luxury.

8. Consistent Colour Tone
Sometimes:
• Gold is mixed with rose gold
• Warm white with cool white
• Too many colours at once
A consistent palette makes everything look more intentional and elegant

Note: If you master these “small” elements, your decoration will always look more expensive than the actual budget.
