Can I officially call myself a wedding photographer now?🥹🤎
This year, I covered my first wedding as a professional photographer, and I honestly couldn't be more grateful.
Technically, it wasn't my first wedding.
My very first wedding was when I was 19, shortly after I started learning photography. I didn't know nearly as much as I do now, but I covered the entire wedding and delivered my best.
Fast forward to this year...
When this opportunity came, I knew I had to show up differently.
I planned.
I prepared.
I leaned on everything I had learned from my tutor, bosses, and colleagues over the years.
Most of the weddings I've attended weren't mine.
I was there assisting, observing, carrying equipment, watching how things were done, and learning.
Looking back now, I realize none of those moments were wasted.
They were preparing me for the day I'd have my own wedding to cover.
If you're just starting your journey, don't stop at learning.
Practice.
Go out for shoots with colleagues
For me, learning doesn't end in the classroom, it begins when I put it into action.
That's when the lessons truly stick.
So yes... I think it's safe to say you can officially call me a wedding photographer.ðŸ¤ðŸ“¸
I planned.
I executed.
I delivered.
And this is only the beginning.
I’m documenting every bit of my journey here and I’m definitely going to take you through my experiences.
Here's to more weddings, bigger opportunities, and beautiful love stories to document. 🥂🎉
