Here's my answer... 'You CAN'T!

The only way you can stop 'mogbomoyas' is if you don't give out invitation cards... Do a secret wedding😀.
Mogbomoyas are rare for small weddings(less than (200-300) but when you have a guests of about 500 and above,it's just advisable to make provisions for the mogbomoyas.👍

Mogbomoyas come in different levels,some will even come with your aso-ebi, some are friends of family members who just tagged along to your wedding. Even if the wedding is 'strictly' by invitation, you'lld be surprised how this people will get their invites.

My take:
1 Make provisions(food,drinks seat) for extra guests. +10% extra provision won't hurt.

2 When making your list,settle people well. Don't give husband and expect he won't smuggle his wife in. Don't give one person in a clique and expect the other guys won't come in. When you write your guest mames, put *3 *5 or *2 next to some names.

Giving one invite per person doesn't really work nowadays. I mean, who would want to go for a wedding alone, really? Especially when you are not sure how many people you'lld know at the event.

Consider these and you'lld be just fine!

Happy new week lovers. Had to share this funny meme. As a wedding planner,it's important we ensure couples don't go overboard in spending towards the 'big day'. As much as we want you to have 'the wedding of the year' and generally a fab day full of the choicest stuffs (which is good for the planner's portfolio by the way) we make it clear to clients to be very wise and careful and not spend unnecessarily, after all there's the marriage to save towards which ultimately is the most important!
