PORTABLE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE. ON THE WANTED LIST OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT.

Portable is in serious trouble, and he knows it. Let me explain what happened yesterday at his Odogwu Bar around Iyana Ilogbo.

A few days ago, agents from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) began a joint monitoring and auditing exercise in the area to check planning permit status and serve notices for illegal structures. While working near Portable's bar, he made a video claiming to be the town planner and boasting that no one could plan a town without him.

Yesterday, when the agents arrived at Portable's Bar, they met his dad and explained their mission. They issued him a notice of illegal structure and informed the dad that they had a limited number of days to challenge it if they had valid documents.

The father told them Portable was not around, but he promised to show him the notice when he returned. As the agents were posting the notices, Portable and his area boys arrived on Okada and attacked the government officials. The agents tried to flee, but Portable instructed Okada riders to block and beat them. He also personally assaulted the officers.

The agents escaped in their vehicle, but Portable pursued them on Okada, attempting to block their escape route. The officers eventually found refuge in a petrol station, where people shielded them, and they contacted their office. The office alerted the police, who arrived just in time to rescue the agents.

It's disturbing that the police had to intervene to rescue the town planning agents from Portable and his area boys, who were beating and pelting them with stones. The police arrested everyone suspected of assaulting the government officials and impounded their vehicles.

Portable has a history of assaulting government agents. In 2023, he was arrested and arraigned by the Ogun State police command for allegedly assaulting police officers. He's reportedly in hiding now.

It saddens my heart seeing the way education is being manage in Oyo state Secondary Schools. I went to my child's school today and the condition at which their first term examination was being conducted
The Nigerian government has made efforts to provide free basic education to children through the Universal Basic Education (UBE) program. However, the country's ability to provide quality education is limited by a number of factors, including: Low tax pressure,Low public investment, High population growth, and Security issues. But on the other hand, parental factor cannot be overlook. Some secondary schools in Oyo state have shortage of funds to manage the school, shortage of infrastructural facilities which has affected achieving a quality education. At first we heard that government gives fund to school Principals to facilitate teaching and learning activities but on the long run the government stop funding schools with the claims that the School heads are not accountable. A principal or school head that is not accountable should be questioned, the government should establish anti-corruption units in the ministries and agencies of education to help check mate corrupt practices among school heads and ensure regular auditing of commissions, agencies and ministries of education account could help check financial corruption within the system instead of not giving grants........... Ministry of education should endeavor to look into this.

Mrs Cynthia Okpara went to her husband's office to report him to his boss. She told her husband's boss how her husband Mr Odogwu Okpara usually squander his N60,000 salary and only gave her N30,000 for upkeep.

After her narration, the boss told her to come back on the last day of the month.

On the said day, she arrived as planned. The boss called Mr Odogwu and they all sat down in the boss' office.

The boss started,' Mr. Odogwu, your wife reported to me some days ago that you squander your salary outside and only give the family N30,000 for upkeep. So right now, I'm going to personally hand over your salaries to her from today henceforth.'

'How much is your transportation to work daily?', the boss asked.
'N900 sir', Mr. Odogwu replied.
The boss handed over N19,800 to Mr. Odogwu. 'That should take you for 22 days'.

'Do you take breakfast at home?', the boss continued.
'No sir, I leave home very early to beat traffic jam'.
'How much do you spend on breakfast and lunch daily?'
'N500 sir',replied Mr. Odogwu.
The boss handed over N11,000 to Mr. Odogwu.

'Who pays the children's school fees', the boss asked facing Mrs. Okpara.
'He does', she replied pointing at Mr. Odogwu.
'How much is the school fees and how many kids have you?'
'N30,000 per term for the two kids we have?'
'In other words, you save N10,000 monthly for each term's school fees right?'
'Yes sir', replied Mr. Odogwu.
Once again, the boss handed N10,000 to him.

'Who pays the rent and how much is it?'
'I do sir. The rent is N36,000 per annum.' Mr. Odogwu replied.
'That's N3,000 monthly right?', the boss added as he handed over N3,000 to Mr. Odogwu

'I don't want to ask about clothings, electricity bills, etc as I know both of you might be handling that', the boss said as he handed over N16,200 to Mrs. Okpara
'What's this for sir', Mrs. Okpara asked surprised.
'Money for upkeep', the boss replied her.
'But it wouldn't take us anywhere', she exclaimed.
'So why don't you appreciate the N30,000 your husband
