Nigerian Meat Pie Recipe (Soft & Buttery)
Ingredients
For the dough
4 cups all-purpose flour
250 g butter or margarine
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup cold water (add gradually)
For the filling
300 g minced beef
2 medium potatoes (diced small)
2 medium carrots (diced)
1 small onion (chopped)
2 seasoning cubes
½ tsp curry powder
½ tsp thyme
Salt to taste
1–2 tbsp flour (to thicken)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup water
