A floor plan is the drawing. Intentional planning is the thinking behind it.

When we look at an event space, the question we are asking ourselves are:

✅How best can we utilize the space without overcrowding the guests?

✅Can guests and vendors move comfortably?

✅Can vendors serve efficiently without affecting the guest experience?

✅Are the tables and chairs positioned in a way that gives guests enough room to sit, dine and move comfortably?

That is the power of floor planning.

Because on event day, your guests may never see the plan we created, but they will experience every decision we made on it.

And that is why intentional space planning matters.

I want to walk you through something many people don’t usually give much attention to when planning an event; the floor plan.

Questions like:

How should the tables be placed?
How much space should be left for movement?
Where should the dance floor, stage, bar and food stations be positioned?

There’s a whole lot that happens between holding the mic and actually owning the room.
