As this week comes to an end, ask yourself:

Am I growing in my knowledge of God, or am I simply gathering more information about Him?

There is a difference.

And God wants you to know Him.

Happy Weekend to you.

See you in church tomorrow.

Don't allow your relationship with God to become something you only practice when you're in church.

Know Him in your everyday life.

In your decisions.

In your conversations.

In your choices.

In your private moments.

God wants to be known by you.

Think about the last thing you read in God's Word.

What did it change in you?

If God's Word is becoming real in your life, there should be evidence of transformation.

You can read the Bible every day...

And still remain the same.

The goal isn't simply to finish a chapter.

The Word should affect the way you live.

Your decisions.

Your attitude.

Your character.

Your relationship with others.

Don't just read the Word.

Let the Word transform you.

Don't read God's Word just for the sake of reading.Let the Word of God produce transformation in your life.

What has God been asking you to do?

And have you obeyed?

Don't allow God's instructions to remain as something you simply heard.

Obedience is part of walking with God.

Sometimes we want God's presence...

But we don't want His instructions.

We want His promises...

But we don't want His principles.

But encountering God should produce something in us.

Obedience.

When God speaks, don't just hear Him.

Be willing to do what He says.
