A Simple, Elaborate - Wedding Checklist
1. **Set the Date**
- Pick a wedding date.
2. **Create a Budget**
- Decide how much money you can spend.
3. **Choose a Venue**
- Book a place for the ceremony and reception.
4. **Guest List**
- Write down the names of people you want to invite.
5. **Invitations**
- Buy or make invitations.
- Send them to your guests.
6. **Wedding Outfits**
- Choose what you and your partner will wear.
7. **Rings**
- Book a ring fitting appointment and buy the wedding rings.
8. **Officiant**
- Find someone to marry you (like a pastor, judge, etc.).
9. **Food and Drinks**
- Decide on a meal or snacks for guests.
- Arrange for a cake (or cupcakes, donuts, etc.).
10. **Music**
- Pick some songs for the ceremony and reception.
- Hire a DJ, band, or make a playlist.
11. **Decorations**
- Choose simple decorations (flowers, lights, love sign, etc.), don’t forget a cardbox, umbrella or blankets for different UK weather.

- After the wedding, send thank you notes to your guests and anyone who gave gifts.
